Wow.....$30k appreciation in 3 months. Good investment. Cant help but to think that car would look stunning with a stock stripe. For those of us who like stripes......H2oskier. lol
Whoa! Now how could that be? I was just with 139361 in Wisconsin a few weeks ago. It was happy with its owner, and sans stripe. Are there actually two? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Motorsports of Scottsdale has old photos of 139361 on their website. It still has the stripe in those pix. It is a newly listed ad so perhaps they are still updating it and waiting for new photos? Car looks a lot better without the stripe IMO
pretty sure that blue one was bought by an f-chatter...IIRC he posted here about taking the stripe off. It sure looks nice in the pics in WI
I didn't see this one in the thread yet. I've only seen it listed on DuPont so far.... http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/Search/DRauSearchDetails.aspx?itemid=1236645 Black/Black Mileage listed at 5840 (not sure if its miles or k/ms... Canada car) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
He also bought a gated 599 at the same time. I haven't seen him post in a while. I guess he didn't like it and dropped it. If it sells for that, then he made a good profit
ZFFDU57AX40139352 5840 miles (9342 km's). I have this CS on my registry. It is for sale since March 2012 ($150900) at Ferrari Quebec. According to my info this was the last CS sold by Ferrari Beverly Hills (so it must be an US spec car?). I haven't confirmed myself, but a friend that's looking for a CS mentioned something about an engine replacement. Does anyone have any info about anything like that?
So you saw 139361 without a stripe a couple weeks ago in WI and now it is for sale in AZ with ad pctures showing with the stripe? And since may, it gained 200miles and $20k? I'm confused
Looks like Mike Law understands that the dealer that has it (reportedly) now is using old photos (with stripe) to showcase it. Which is shocking to me too as the car is mucho better without the tri-bianco livery. I cant imagine why the car would be flipped so quickly. I think 575Mike here may know. However... If that 3 pedal 599 bought at the same time is the reason - then I get that completely.
One of my issues with considering a CS is the all-alacantra interior. This one OTOH, is BEAUTIFUL with the partial leather and stitching. How rare (on a % basis) are cars equiped like this?
Sorry I didn't see that post. I figured those were old pics and I guess those serve the purpose until they can update the add. Makes sense. Sorry for the confusion It is a much better looking car without that stripe. It also suprises me that 575Mike flipped it so quickly but it wouldn't surprise me that the 599 was part of the reason.
Hey guys, I'm not for certain selling the Blue CS. I have the car here in Wisconsin without the goofy stripe. It's a very nice example. I told the dealer in AZ that I might trade it for a car the AZ dealer may be able to obtain. It's not certain that deal would even work, but they went ahead and listed my CS anyway, which I found out about on F Chat. StokPro is the guy who I want to sell it if I sell it. I will let everyone know if it goes on the market for sure. Thanks!
Shame to see so many low mileage CS's out there. Someone's definately missing out on all the fun. 23k and still going strong. In the shop now for routine maint and cosmetic updates.
Your profile says you still own a CS... did you get another one after you sold it to Jason? Two cars that would've been worth keeping, your CS and D90.
Stokpro and others...what an incredibly informative thread. Really appreciate the input and insights by all. Is the blk/blk example currently listed at FoQ as good as it sounds? Seen some comments about a "replacement engine". Am also wondering if this was the same car that was being sold by L.A. Leasing a few years ago. Went through this entire thread and Mike's website, but couldn't find any specifics. I've pulled the CarFax as well. Any insights by the community would be appreciated. Stories, paint, previous owner...anything that can help make an informed decision would be appreciated. Take care, thanks again and drive safe.
5 owners car including two commercial Original tires It has been sitting for a while Belts are due FoQ will take care of all what has to be done before delivery I will have a look at the car in person next week Cheers Alex
