Eurospares hasn't had one for a very long time.

Back glasses used to be the "holy grail" of 365/400/412 parts but guess what? No longer. Ferrari UK emailed me and said they have them in stock!

There was a shortage of rear glass a few years ago, not now.

OK here's another holy grail to shatter the myth's

Clear front indicators ( complete ) for the 412 ( probably not OEM but so what )
Apparently now in stock at Eurospares #257-83-170-00

Yep, the lens has been available through a US supplier from time to time, but apparently these guys have the complete light assembly.
Also, I reckon you could tint a clear lens amber if you were really stuck

The guy who restored my 400i ordered one from Europe and when it arrived it did not fit... NO idea if this is the same supplier but just a note...

Rear glass on my car is now a clean OEM piece.

I think you found your new supplier. :D

I don't know if anyone else has run into this, just because Eurospares shows it in stock doesn't mean that it's in stock! :( Even when you call it to their attention, they still leave the 'In Stock" label on the part.

I jotted this down when Antti posted:

"My company manufactures windshields for almost any (series-production and some done in a few pieces only) classic Ferrari, as well as for other sportscars, too.
We have the 365/400 GT/4 2+2 front glass available, as well as the heated rear-glass, too (although the rear is done only in larger batches, so is available only periodically as we do none to stock...).

We mainly supply car-manufacturers and carrozzerias etc. with their special needs (low quantities to one-offs).

Send me a private mail if you haven't found a glass closer by yet!
We do have shipments going all around the world all the time, so maybe there's something going your way soon to share in freight-costs (?)! Yours from sunny Finland,

    A little later he posted:

    "Good news!
We finally have another small batch of the original-style heated rear-glasses for 365/400 GT/4 2+2 coming out of the ovens in late January 2009!!

If you have interest, please send me private mail, and I'll keep you posted!

My classic car insurance company knows the company in Finland very well. They paid a stone chip repair of my windshield but first I asked if the window cracks during repair what then? She said they knew where to get it. I mentioned Finland and she said, yes we know them well!

The links in Bruce's email do not seem to work.
