Are you sure this is 1121444?
1121444 is now white and has Koenig side skirts.

There was also a lowbody S2 with the same combination, I always thought that the car pictured in Monaco was the S2.

Silver car= one of the guys involved in the conversion claims to have all the original parts. Doing him no good i would think that he would probably sell them especially going back to the original car from which they came. I'm only guessing though. Mechanically it's just changing out parts BUT the hood. On the early ones they have been cut to make room for the bumper right? That could be much hard to fix.

It would be neat to go back to the as-manufactured car & keep all the DOT parts as part of the car's documented history towards Countach legalization for the USA.

i agree Joe. i just wonder if the front hood could be remade/remanufactured or if it would be easier to fit one from another car (maybe a fire victim). Does anyone know of anyone that has converted a 5liter DOT car back to euro specs with factory parts?

Welcome to the world's premier resource for the Countach! (if I may humbly say so myself repeating what or so I have been told many times)

If you subscribe, not only will you be supporting the existence & maintenance of the thread, but you can post images. Meanwhile, send to me anything you wish to post and I will be only too happy to oblige.

I think you are right, its 1120082, but let the owner (who posts here) confirm.

I have embedded it here for posterity by posting the image directly, because over time, links can go bad or disconnect.

I might like that. Do we have a side view? Only because the rear wheel arch curve is not distinguishable.

Correct, the full info I have is the Nero Metallizzato/Rosso one is: C005A0JLA12336, and the Bianco/Rosso one is: C005A0JLA12366. I think the latter car was intended for the Middle East.

    Yes.

I think this may be the same car, pic below from 1977, spats on.

I think this is a factory Muletta with special engine, the car Mel Nichols tested with factory tester (& racing driver) Stanislao Sterzel to a ridiculous 195 (I'm saying this from memory) for CAR magazine.

I have no idea what the chassis number is!

I wouldn't be surprised when this car became 1121030...
This car in the picture had also a swiss registration in Canton Vaud where the swiss importer was located.
