Concours D'Elegance Pebble Beach Suggestions

At the last minute (today) I decided I wanted to fly out to CDE at Pebble and experience something I have always wanted to do.

Fortunately, McLaren has been kind enough to invite me out as a VIP Guest for being a McLaren owner, so we have some events we will be attending, but I wanted to know if anyone could provide any insight as to what the "Must See" events are to see out there?

Currently I own a Ferrari 458 Italia, 599 GTB and California, but for whatever reason I guess I am not high on the food chain when it comes to Ferrari and don't have any invites to any of their events.

Ferrari is clearly my first passion, so if anyone could assist or help out with anything Ferrari related, I would be forever grateful.

Additionally I would love to really get a feel for the event, with hopes of sponsoring something next year with my company www.PrivateJet.com

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure FNA really does anything out there... but FCA will be kicking off the 50th anniversary of Ferrari in America with the 599 tour... wich starts in Monterey.... check with the cali FCA guys.

The party at the Jet Center on Wednesday night is probably a good one to sponsor although there are already a few Jet sponsors.

Quail on Friday is pretty high end and a number of Jet guys there.

The Auctions are interesting.

I am kind of sensing that......but I guess it comes with the territory.

From what I understand you need to currently own 5 Ferrari's to get "known".

I should have two more soon so hopefully someday I can go to these things!

 

Five?? I thought you only had to have one - one of the ones that matters, anyways.

Either way, be sure to catch the McCall party, all of the auction previews, the Baja Cantina party, at least some of the Historics, and definitely the Quail.

What do people think of the jet center party Wednesday? Is it worth the ticket price? I was thinking of going but I'll be driving up four hours that day would rather save the money if it's not really worth it.

 

And then there are the races...

I forgot there are so many things to do there this week, I drive up the for the races and come home without ever doing anything else and I have done for 38 years, the races are the real reason for this week and weekend. Have not been to Pebble on Sunday in about 20 years, I did show the Dino at Quail in 2000 and that was a waste of time. Did the Cantina party a few times...its ok. Chris...I will be at the races if you are bored up there (but I wont have the 360)
