    Does anyone know which was the year that the Ghibli II was first offered with the option for a steering wheel with an airbag? (airbag for the passenger was never an option)

    Was there any other feature like that offered in the later models? I remember the Primatist special edition was offered with special interior dual-tone colors. Any other variations or special options for the Ghibli II?

    The airbags came as option and we - if I remember right - made by a German company. They were to my knowledge only available on the "Ghibli GT" (2.8 und 2.0 models?) and on sale only from about mid 1997.
    These cars also had ABS and the differential from the Ferrari 412.
    Very, very good cars - fast, reliable (when treated correctly) and understatement..
