I saw a red Stradale in Sacramento on the back of a flat bed truck last week. It looked like it rolled and was pretty badly damaged. No stripe. Any info on this car?
add me to the list of cs owners. just bought a rosso corsa car with 900kms. has the sliding windows which look super cool but not so easy to manage carpark exit buttons. car is a hk delivered rhd. proper lightweight spec with radio delete and full alcantara, 4 points, etc. i will use the car more than it was used by original owner.
I went and looked at this car a couple months ago. It is a nice car overall. The alcantara is faded above the instrument cluster from the sun. The black leather is nice, and the overall paint is nice. The front bumper has never had clearbra and there are stone chips. Your call on a respray or just know that you will get more anyway and enjoy it. Nice car. As Andrew said, check all the history, negotiate in a full service and you should be ok.
The Stradale sounds like a very nice 'find' for you in preferred RHD some 8 years later! Did you try and pry that Stradale away from it's owner for some time now? The number available there in RHD must be rather limited. CH
CS is great. Just took it to lunch and it drew a crowd of onlookers and picture takers... "Hey, is that the new Ferrari"? "YUP". LOL. It's a keeper and running great. Are you going to get back in?
yes. i have been looking for a cs for year. the cars in hk have generally had a very hard life and none of the ones that came up from time to time appealed to me. the population of cs's in hk is also shrinking due to big accidents and fires
The HK Ferrari market seems to hold the two extremes of 'display model' and 'used up' Ferrari. There are a number of very low mileage models there like the 288 GTO, F40 and F50 plus even the Enzo that have seen little use at all. Still the passion there for Ferrari is obvious! Thank you. CH
There have been several of you guys that have inquired about non-red CS's for sale. Here's a chance to own a stunning silver CS with black leather, 5900mi., red calipers, hi-fi, new tires, recently serviced and ready to go! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=10405
I am also in the market for a CS now. Preferably with a factory stripe, but I think some colors, like argento, look better without it.
The next 80 days is the time to buy. Lot's of folks sitting on the sideline waiting to see the results of the election before they commit. If you feel good one way or the other you could make out big. You can see a few more CS's and boats and planes etc. on the market as a result. I'm all in.
completely agree. the clean cars without stories are becoming more and more difficult to find and only a finite population of the buying community truly understands the long term value a car like the CS. shop now. avoid the rush
So, basically, if your taxes go up you can no longer afford a CS. Even if your taxes went up 10% (NET) and you can no longer afford a CS you really shouldn't have a CS in the first place... just sayin'.
Take it to the P&R forum. The bottom line is "Certainty" No more no less. That's why the world is on the sidelines right now.
Less talk, more Stradale. I will have one of these. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQ1z3GYJDtI[/ame]
Actually, your statement should be in the P&R forum. It's all right, we're all a fan of this fantastic car in this thread no matter what tax bracket you're in and if you're an owner or not. FAVORITE 360CS noise! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkcfuCFv2TA[/ame]
My point was I didn't want to debate the topic here. But I will debate it over there. I'm just saying now is the time to buy a CS if you want one.
