    Good evening everybody,

I would like to discuss whether the specification of a 288 GTO makes a difference in price.
The only options what I know have been air con, power windows and full leather. Is there any "version" most preferred?

    Regards, Wolfgang

Cars in this spec (most GTOs) are what most seem to prefer. Although that is not the reason one car is worth more than another. Condition is the ultimate determinant of price of any GTO.

The Ansa Megaphono sport exhausts were not an official factory "option" in the traditional sense of the word.

They were more of a "we know some good people down the road that can put a nice exhaust on your car" thing.....

From the ones I have been involved in, they look upon them as horrible appendages  that must immediately be removed & replaced by standard units if Maranello Holy Water is to be sprinkled upon the car :)

And then the car is no longer classiche.. Kinda defeats the object to a degree.

Classiche seems quite grey.. A friend had issues re racing and showing his non classiche BB. Yet you see LDM hobnobbing at the GTO 50th get together surrounded by non classiche cars.
