I don't think this was the Foyt car - the one above had a black interior with cloth seat inserts whereas Foyt's had bright red seats.

I haven't got a clue whose car it is, but man, it doesn't half look great in that colour.

Oxblood actually, looked like afterbirth...I think it DID get an update to 'red' tho.....

Recall "grey and maroon" were Texas A&M colors, so Foyt's made sense in that regard.....

IIRC, this is a 1983 that was redone (body, interior) at Autosport Designs (NY) awhile back and is now part of a collection out here on the left coast. At one point it was offered on consignment at Fantasy Junction. It (unfortunately) is not a CA BAR car. Great looking car though! Has black interior with the Zegna seat inserts.

Silver Boxers with black trim are just the best!

And it was the original color until some knucklehead painted it re-sale red in the 80s  Glad it's gone back to silver.

Silver hides nothing. Bright or dark colors can distract and provide cover for design flaws. And like no other color, silver showcases the sublime design of Mr. Fioravanti.

That is one beautiful machine. Thanks for posting.
