    Looks great!

As far as I know, there is no difference between 12 and 13. But, you get the advantage in resale of course.

The tilt and telescope on my 13 steering wheel is manual. I think they were electric up til now. Now I think electric just comes with the memory seats.

It is an extra option with the carbon racing seats, I ordered it because I know having a manual adjustment in a $ 300 000 car would annoy me to no end. By the way, more pics, please.

I'm pretty sure electric adjustment of the wheel was only for full electric seats.

Sorry to oppose Your Mayorship. ;)

Maybe it's us comfort-oriented Europeans enjoying a better basic setup, but although my car being fitted with the carbon race seats (manual), it still has that electric wheel adjustment gadget and I did NOT pay any more for it (for whatever reason...).

    Best,
    Ulli

I am with you Uli, Uk car, carbon racing seats, electric wheel adjustment, NOT listed as an option.
To be honest i find it ridiculous anyway, I am forever changing the wheel postion when driving, ....racing have it set a bit lower, cruising lift it up a bit, sometimes I move it about quite abit on just one journey. Would really annoy me if it was a manual jobby

My dealer told me this changed for 13, previous model years included this.

Thats pretty poor then, I thought a new model should have improvements over the outgoing, seems ridiculous to take things such as this off, that would really annoy me if I had just ordered a 2013 car

Well, here is the info I have for ordering 2012 spiders (document dated Oct 2011). It's pretty clear that power electric steering adjustment is only for Full power electric seats.

There is no option for electric steering adjustment other than buying Full power electric seats. I was told you cannot get automatic back up mirror adjustment or the electric adjustment steering wheel if you order racing seats (which I did). Of course, racing seats are manually adjustable, not electric.

This was the US spec for 2012 models. I can't tell you about Europe or other markets.

It maybe different on the spiders but my 2012 coupe came with racing seats and the electric steering wheel adjustment standard.

That could be too. I'll find out in a few weeks when mine shows up. I did not order electric wheel adjustment. I just ordered the CF racing seat package.

But, we should get back to photos again! :)

My dealer said they changed the electric steering column to be optional starting with 2013 models. I ordered the racing seats and ordered the electric steering column (ELSC) and received the build sheet confirmation from the factory.

I can't be 100% sure at all, but it almost looks like a matte, Rosso Fuoco?? Whatever it is, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! Thanks for sharing, that's amazing, I want it!!

I think what this says is that the wheel will move automatically to a memory position if you get the full electric seats, but the wheel was power adjusted up to 2012. The other change is the up charge for the cavallino stitched in the racing seats. Was standard. Now you pay.

Matt Is that Spider in Germany? Gorgeous.. Would say Rosso Opaco, but that just looks too metallic/satin + bicolore! saw a spider recently that was RC/silverstone

I have no details on the car but I'd love to find out some info and see some more pics. I've seen a lot color combos but that pic just really catches my eye. Probably a pain to keep looking like that but it really looks great. Anyone know anything about it?

I don't see Rosso Fuoco on the configurator for the US. I assume there was an extra charge for the color. How much?

From what I hear the "matte" color option is a extra 50 g's. Something about that color option just really just grabs my eye. I've gone back and gazed at that pick 5 times a day since I have seen it. The flat black matte colors don't really do anything for me....they do look unique but that red is amazing. If I could afford one I always bounced around on what color I'd get but I can finally say that that is it!
