Q: Lotus RB Mclaren Race: Lotus Mclaren RB Weather: http://www.weather.com/weather/weekend/Spa+BEXX0031:1:BE
Lotus will do very well as will Mclaren at Spa. I suspect a street fight the rest of the reason for 2nd place in the WCC. I also expect 1st place to not be 100% wrapped up either, I believe it's very much up for grabs as is Alonso's current spot. The only thing that could harm Lotus here would be cool Belgian temperatures. Mclaren will have it if that happens, and Mercedes will do well too if that's the case.
Pirelli have reported to bring the hardest compound they have. How good have Ferrari been on that type tire?
I just heard the Pirelli compounds being brought are new versions of hard and medium. We shall see what this means
I don't have much confidence in Ferrari right now. I think this is going to be a McLaren/Lotus fight. Although I called Lotus cars winning Spa and Monza awhile back so we'll see.
Oh yeah, these next two races are going to be terrible for Ferrari. THe circuits are no good for them, not at all.
They better have the pope himself sprinkle holy water on the car then. Just my opinion, but Mclaren and Lotus will be the forces to be reckoned with at Monza, maybe even Mercedes too just because of the power that thing has, and their super DRS will actually work there.
.....Pirelli believes that the decision to bring its hardest tyres to the Belgian Grand Prix should allow drivers to push to the maximum in the race. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/102010 Sounds like some very hard tires....
Kubica mate you forgot about him, rumour has it he has apparently been behind the wheel again. He tested a Ford Fiesta WRC on the Circuit des Ecuyers, which is located close to the town of Château-Thierry. He was working alongside Petter Solberg et Jari-Matti Latvala, the two Ford factory drivers in the WRC and he has been described only as a mystery driver, who did not wish to have any publicity about the relationship.
