The track is shorter now than when the F40 was tested, btw....but not enough to make it even near to a match for the F12
Very cool - was proposed for a building in New York some years ago -didn't know it'd been done in Sing...
Dear lord................................HOW is this crap making the news!!! http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/8525767/mechanic-makes-9200-lamborghini-replica
That is no fake. It's just as agricultural as the real thing. Could be the prototype for the next model.
This event looks amazing and in my opinion will upstage Pebble Beach this year. http://www.concoursofelegance.co.uk

Took in Glenburn, Strath Creek, Yea & Flowerdale, Kinglake return this morning in my filthy old beater. Came back into town with around 1000 miles (Aug-Sept) road gunk & grime on the car. Decided lazily to throw caution to the wind & visit 'Magic Hands' Subcontinental Car Wash Epicentre, on S'vale rd Burwood east. Given a wash price of $20; sure. Sans instruction joined the Q. A very anxious & pained by appearance, Subcontinental Warrior approaches repeatedly offering to drive the car into the wash bay. "I drive car for you, I need drive car." One cannot fail to notice various mobiles at the ready. This request of course I am unable to understand & remain mute until said operative is attempting to enter via drivers window. My response is face to face & firm; pointed & unambiguous; "no you don't need to drive car - you will not drive car." Park Car in Bay - keys in pocket. Sit watchfully at el fresco preening & display area; happily yarning to accountant from Penang. Reapproached 8.7 minutes later by same Subcontinental Warrior with authority; "key, key, where is key, where is key." Remind him very firmly "no key - you do not need key - you wash car." Move car for Dream Team to wipe down & shine area (no-polish). Resume conversation / Remain vigilant. See drivers door open; sills ect wiped down. Less than 60 seconds transpire, 1 - 2 - 3 - heads in car; infestation imminent. Approach Dream Team with navvy's cry: ' Oi ' (basso-profundo) Met with very crafty & lamb eyed imprecation: "Boot, boot, where is boot ?" With force: "No boot - you wash car." Shut driver's door. Surly & resentfull looks all round. Job & Finish; inside to pay. A teeming little beauracracy of one, smiles & takes $19.90 from me, in the readies. This takes at least 5 minutes; smiles all round - thank you, ect - ect. Exit: Thank Dream Team graciously; who remain hard at work on the next victim. Met with muliple expressionless stares & robitic thank you's in reply. Quite a lot of entertainment for the dosh really. Wash Rating 5.5/10. Quick once over; no attention to finish or detail. That would be the one. To be fair you can't expect much for $19.90; which to honest I didn't expect in the first instance. But the full & persistent hustle for the keys is a portent; & contiguous with previous experience both domestic & O/S. To this end the wash quality irrelevant. I was not suprised, but offended by the audacity & rank sense of entitlement. Better energy could have been spent on the 'service' paid for. Hence posting title.
+1 Have had the bogan car washed there a couple of times. Very entrepreneurial, offered to paint my front bar for $400. I of course declined and will at some point get Glenn to paint my car.
