Wounded Warrior drive and lunch-Oceanside

Ferrari, Lambo, and exotics owners. I have made arrangements with the Wounded Warrior Battalion at Camp Pendleton Oceanside for October 6, 2012 from 11AM to 3PM. We will meet at Lowe's in Oceanside and drive to the San Luis Rey Gate and have a military escort to the Battalion HQ. We will need driver's lic.,proof of insurance and registration There will be a drive with each car taking a member of the program off the base to lunch. Yes we will have signed waivers. Our servicemen that were wounded in action are rehabilitating at the base. Some do not have family, or transportation to get them off the base. Let's show our support for these men and women for their service and sacrifices that they have made. Putting a smile on their face and knowing that they are supported in their efforts to face the future is part of the rehab. I know I was a Navy Corpsman during Vietnam and worked the hospitals. We need a minimum of 10 cars, but I know we can show our support in full force! Each of us will pay for lunch for the member we transport. If you have any questions please PM me. Thank You!

Hi Pat,
First off thanks for organizing this event. I cannot think of a better cause. Can Street Rods attend as well? I have friends that will do this but they have cars like 540" Fairlanes and ‘64 Chevelles and Cobras. I am in for sure with my 550M.

Thanks JC, I am sure there is room for them. I promised the Marines 10 Ferrari's, and told them that we would probably have other cars also. I was planning on between 20 to 30 cars in total. I have to give them a firm number of cars, so they can sign up that number soldiers.

Pat, nice job. Missed this last year. You can count on two Ferrari's from Cavallo MotorSports. Probably a 16M 430 Spider and a 355 Spider. I'll ask around to see who else may want to go and get back to you.
