Chassis 017 is still in close to perfect Concours condition and will be present at the European VECTOR Reunion in August:

Nice!! That looks like the same car that was in DuPont Registry in the early 90s. I notice it's saying "carbon fiber body," but the W8 was also Kevlar and s-glass. Is that one of the PP cars? Which chassis is that?

It also says "two or three passenger coupe", something I can't imagine would be possible..

That's true, I didn't notice that. The Vector is just shy of 7 feet wide, there's no way of accommodating 3 people unless you have someone on your lap.

I also just noticed that there are 2 cars pictured there. The top one shows one of the early cars without the front spoiler, and the car pictured at the bottom has the front spoiler.

Carbon-Kevlar. Just kevlar alone with s-glass wouldn't cut it.

3 seats... tight, but works. Not so tight if the women are about 110 lbs or less :)

Damn, I haven't seen that layout before! Which car is that?

    Wow.

I guess I was imagining a staggered layout like the McLaren, but a bench seat that is about 1/2 the size of a full size truck interior? Totally awkward.. unless you're not planning on making any turns. :D

As I understand, dividers slide up...

The bench seat was certainly in the AWX-3R; but I don't think it is right now. This one looks like it one of the PP cars... or the Avtech coupe.

Above photo looks to be the AWX-3 coupe. 3 abreast seating was always mentioned but I don't think ever installed in a production car. Another idea they were looking at was interior pieces that could be easily removed & replaced to change configuration or colors easily (some parts using velcro). AWX-3 also had more storage bins.
Also, Vector was looking at custom fitted seats (fit to the customer) for their cars, but this never happened either.

Wasn't there a magazine with this on the cover? I thought I remembered seeing it a long time ago, but I can't find it anywhere.

Yep, you're right. I found it online. Then I searched for it on ebay, and the seller is asking more than $30 bucks for it. What a ripoff.

Isn´t Kevlar exactly carbon (aramide) fiber?

There were different chassis offered in the dPR.
But one car was shown like the one above (graphite grey, tinted wheels, left side shot) and announced as Warren Person´s chassis 010.
WP (from Person FORD) had placed an order on #010. But as soon as Jerry Wiegert got wind of WP offering the car for 600k$ before it was even built, the contract was cancelled.
So no chassis 010 was ever made.

The brochure shows a 1990/91 graphite grey W8 with the sharp nose (could be any of the existing four cars: PP-1, 001, 002, 013).
The flip side of the folder shows the red chassis 011 (note the Speedline wheels on one photo) which is the only W8 that is not accounted for.
Chassis 011 was purchased by the Emir of Qatar who gave the car to the Saudi King´s son Mohammed bin Fahd as a gift.

Then check out photos of the WX3 interior.
Jerry always wanted to offer a three across seating in the W2 and W8.
Eventually he came up with it in the WX3 coupe.

No, the WX3-R never had three seats.
    The coupe did.

I think Kevlar is different than carbon fiber. Vector used all these depending on where it was used. I believe the Avtech also used nomex, but not sure if the W8's had nomex as well. I would say the brochure doesn't go into much detail on materials used...

Carbon is not Kevlar; however, carbon and kevlar can be weaved together. The benefit of this is that at the time, kevlar was cheaper, and able to be molded far better than fiberglass.

McLaren F1 layout is superior in that it allows 2 women to fellate you simultaneously :)
