Very nice Mike! I can't wait to see the episode. It's great to see how much you enjoy your car. To me, that's the best part. Congrats!!!

Yes Joe, 1121006. After looking at my notes, stating from the original owner, the car was in Switzerland for a little over a year. Since quite a few photos are coming in lately, I thought I would post asking for this. No one seems to have any when it was in Beverly Hills so I figured ask about Swiss.
Of course agree completely. I limit my appreciation as far as the factory gold wheels too, yuck on the trim. Still a rockin countach!
I WOULD like but i have no picture of it . i have seen one day a gold lp400 in Brussel 1983 ( i don't know if it's the same?) in the Garage du Pesage , avenue du pesage , with an Espada silver , a miura s white and a miura sv yellow , plenty of Rolls and an Interceptor cabriolet !!! it was borbidden to take pics .....

Hi Miura1, First of all thanks a lot for posting so many nice period pictures. What I like is that most of them they were caught in the real life. Fantastic and keep posting! Was the last picture taken in front of JB Automobiles in Paris? All the best, Ed.

I went there almost every week during the 80s in order to see what was new in the showroom. several times I had the chance to see a Countach parked in front of the shop ready to be delivered. Thanks for reminding me very good memories! All the best, Ed.

Scott, I always look forward to your images, they are great and you have a good photographer's eye! The car with Bravo wheels is a later car with those units fitted post-production. The car with the gold wheels & trim is a QV FI converted to to DD. Best,
Thanks for clarifying Peter. Period pics exist of your Countach, you just have to find them. It is highly improbable that a Lamborghini Countach in Beverly Hills will not be photographed by somebody. FWIW, due to the financial situation in 1978 & 79, quite a few LP400S S1 were sold by Automobili Lamborghini SpA with a Swiss or Italian dealer noted as the delivering dealer. As we have learned, this was often done by the Sales Manager to facilitate a sale to the USA via one of his Eu concessionaires and to assist their quotas at the same time. We have solid evidence that several cars never visited the location of the noted delivering dealer, but were simply picked up at the factory and taken directly back to the USA (usually via air freight out of Frankfurt). This may not be the case with your car, but its worth mentioning here.
I post this well known and beautiful image in memory of Mr. Franco Zagari, who recently passed away. Great enthusiast, great photographer and a real gentleman. His pictures with their usual black corner with the characteristic ©ZAGARI have marked the long afternoons studying the Lamborghini books when I was young. Thank you Mr. Zagari!
