I would love to try to park that in one of the NYC garages that checks your trunk: would get quite a bit of (perhaps unwanted) attention...!

This "experimental gas from recycling" they're talking about. Is it LPG (propane)? Seems plausible.

What better way to attract attention to your product than with a Rosso Corsa Ferrari? Looks kinda cool and it must have been a real attention getter on the floor at the various trade shows and exhibitions it traveled to...

I wonder what the energy content of methane is...it might be higher than gasoline and thus make more power.

I think they could have installed the bottles a little better or made a custom one...looks kind of half-assed.

Amen, but shows the problem with the low energy density of a gas -- you need a BIG tank.

The L in LPG stands for Liquid. It's under pressure and thus in liquid form. The energy content per gallon still is about 10% lower than gas. The "for racing" is humbug.

The stuff does have a 10% higher octane rating, so you COULD advance ignition a bit further without detonation, but this hardly compensates for the lower energy content of the stuff.

(I've got LPG in my daily driver BMW)
