There was an article somewhere about that. And they were explaining both the benefits and the drawbacks of presenting both the McLaren and Enzo's successor at the same time. If the McLaren is going to be presented in Paris for sure, then it is very unlikely Ferrari will show their hypercar there too. The idea is to "steal the show" and the two cars at the same event will take eachother's thunder.

No, the President said "end of year viewing" for the selected few and was not referring the public unveiling of the car.

On 10/27 we're hoping for about a 6:45 street legal on slicks, HP restricted, with ballast.

P12 will have much better power to weight ratio so F70 can only have better aerodynamics

given what we 'know' so far, i would say P12 also (1000hp total, massive aero, less wgt). Both cars will be ridiculous, but the Mac faster around the NS by just a smidgen. However, i would also hazard a guess that the new 'enzo' driver would be the one having the more thrilling ride (the noise, the throttle response, etc.)..but that's subjective to be deemed 'objective' in a sense if more folks agree:)

    P12 7:03
    'Enzo' 7:06

my other guess, 2013 spec P4/5CM, no air restriction, full ballast, road legal but with slicks

    NS: 6:35

Lexus LFA 2014 'variant' spec, 'cup' tyres, 7:06!!!

so that puts her ~2900lbs, ~520hp. 6:45? yes.
    2900lbs, ~650hp...........................6:35!!!

latest Zonda R 'evo' spec (revised aero, 760hp)....6:38!!!

    :)

Well, it would be more prudent to wait for the actual cars before making unfounded predictions.

Interesting. I wonder if Ferrari are considering pulling the F70 from Paris and delaying to Geneva? This will at least steal some thunder...

Yup. They're actually still in the planning/design stage with certain aspects of this car. They are quietly 'rethinking'.

Dont know if this was brought up yet in this thread but since the F70 is going to be a hybrid can a US based purchaser apply for some US Government subsidies or rebates?

LOL...I was joking of course but the least they could do is give the purchaser one of those decals so they could drive in the HOV lane
