It is exactly what I said...I met him in Monterey this last Month...as a matter of fact he came up to me, sought me out and shared some time with me about his car as well as all the great Photo work he has done over the years..I was quite impressed as I have never met him, seen his car or his work prior..it was a nice few hours..glad to have met him....

225 Series tires became available for the QV.

    All LP400S (S1, S2 & S3) and all LP500S had 205 series tires as original spec equipment.

    Hope this helps Peter.

Yes..agree..the placement of the wheels on a car other then a early S1 would be the choice of the owner..IMO, they look good on and early S1-S3 car...and of course I am sure any trained person with knowledge of these cars could see they did not come from the factory equiped with these orginial (OEM) wheels..but neither did a lot of muscel cars in the 70's that traded back and forth OEM wheels for looks...

I still think the car looks great with the OEM Bravo wheels on it...and all the really matters is if Goerge likes it or not..after all it's his car...I dont think anyone here would reject his car given to him just for the fact it has OEM Bravo wheels on it that belong on a S1 early car..??

    Stop your regular BS.

In post http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=141720000&postcount=14385 you directly quote me ("I am saying it happened every way") and say "See..we do agree.."

What else can "we" possibly mean other than another desperate attempt to somehow link your standing to mine??

Don't try and pass it off as no big deal and change the subject to taste.

You wrongly stated on a public forum that S2 cars and S3 cars have Bravos as "original equipment".

Here you are pretending to specialize in these cars and you don't even know the difference between the variants?

    Please.

No, actually you came on here and lied that you spent "a few hours" with Dennis, feigning familiarity, when in fact there is none. Stick to the facts.

I think you are really reaching here......but I am honored that you find the time to do so...but I did not say they were ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT supplied on the S2 S3 or later S1 cars..I said the wheels are Orginial equipment..but I can see where you would like to link that together...and I will aggree my wording is poor in the writing..but hell we all know my writing is sub standard to begin with LOL

    BUT seriously....???

No no no. Keep it here.

    Joe & Roy,
From this day forward you are not to talk towards each other in any post or thread. If anything comes up you need to talk take it offline by email or PM. If someone else brings something up that gets you both involved please email me if you think anything needs to be posted. Thank you, rob

Your response was: "Works for me". It took you just 12 days to completely disregard what you mandated & break your promise. Clearly your word isn't worth anything.

Now you want to do this via the PMs? Seriously?

You see, this is how it works: when you are off this thread, its nice & peaceful & productive. When you come ion here, drama starts in 10 mins.

You have not answered the question as to why you stated erroneously that S2 & S3 cars have Bravos as original equipment. Did you seriously not know that?

You have answered your OWN question..and many could and do say it is you that causes the Drama with in 10 minutes of coming on..so the knife can cut both ways..

AND you should SERIOUSLY know the answer to the Bravo question...come on mr I recall know everything..we talked about in this very thread and others when I placed them on my S2..the Black one...I and every one else KNEW they did not belong on there..as you pointed out with in seconds of the picture being posted...but I liked the look...and it seems others as well do to...George, Emilio, Me..and I am sure others that just dont want to post here in fear of your "sword of greatness" slashing out at them...

I'm not reaching. You flat out don't know the difference between the variants.

No English language excuses and poor grammar or illiteracy are going to help you. It was OTHERS who pointed this out to me. In fact I missed that post till today.

You are more then welcome to..I have no issue with that..while you were at Quail..we were at Concourso Italiano..pretty much all day.....back and forth..I think he also spend quite a bit of time at the Lamborghini Newport Beach tent with Grant..but to be honest I am not sure if it was 31 minutes or 67 minutes....my stop watch broke and I quit keeping track of him..

Please don't speak for either Emilio or George. Always speaking for others to create a veil of BS.

I have known George for 15 years and we do business together. He has little interest posting here.

I have known Emilio for 7 years and we do business together. He posts here when he likes.

The only person who has any fear is YOU. And with good reason.

Do you lay awake at night waiting for this stuff??

WOULD YOU please mind posting the REST of this conversation that I agreed to, as did you...that was a private conversation and agreement between us...because POSTING only a section of it is not only dis-honest...but down right in-correct...but thats what people like yoo do...they ONLY provide the information they have to make them look good..

    "dont ask dont tell"

As in the car "has no needs"

BUT SOMEONE has to call it done here..and you take it as a win..or whatever makes your self blown up image work for you...just not worth my time to constantly answer a person that has no value to me and my life for any reason what so ever...enjoy your self impossed St Hood Joe..

Peter, I missed the first question and only answered the second: the right height was basically the same for the S1 & S2 cars. The S3 cars had a higher ride height. The details of this are much-discussed in the early stages of this thread.

Clearly it is the owner's choice to fit whatever wheel to whatever car. I don't have much of an opinion on this, other than to make the necessary comment that needs to be made if non-original equipment is being passed off as original equipment. Hey, make yourself happy and put Anniversario wheels on an LP400 for all I care, just don't call it original equipment.

A seller or someone in the business of selling these cars ought to present them as they came, as much as the original equipment survives with the car. The simple reason is one of avoiding confusion or any misrepresentation. A private owner has no such obligation.

    Joe, I know.
I am just stating that one has to be careful putting Bravos on a non Bravo car. That there are certain questions they should ask themselves.

As far as Roy passing off Bravo on as OEM. If I remember correctly, he stated he had a "Series Early" to which I point out to him he had a Series Two with Bravos. Then all hell broke loose, many posts by many members, and eventually the semi correct wheels went on it. And then, my rusty crusty head thinks, eventually the correct set were on when sold. Then Roy was let down off the whipping post.

    Good recollection Peter.

    A "Series Early"

WTF is a "Series Early" exactly? I apologize, that was a rhetorical question, so please allow me to answer it myself: A figment of someone's imagination. There must be a "Series Late" I am also unaware of.

Yes I recall Bravos, Campagnolos & Route OZs being juggled around like a circus act. Throw in a set of Anniversario wheels and we would have had a full Countach wheel set.

    Best,
