    Hey,

Seems everyone has an opinion on this! "There's only thing worse than being talked about, and that's not being talked about......"

So, cast your votes! Should be interesting.

    Cheers,
    Ian

OK - You can't vote for "other" (or option 4!) without a reason or two! ;)

    Cheers,
    Ian
PS - Can anyone see who voted for who? [I think I can, but haven't checked?]

McLaren! - At home! - because for Lewis it's the equivalent of:

(I believe these were the pictures from McLaren's first ever F1 win celebrations! :p )

Funny that. Most of us would think he'll stay at Mclaren because of EJ's comments. The guy is an idiot and a liar, I wouldn't believe a word he says.

That said, IF MSC does retire this year (announcement at Monza I would say), the chance is pretty big. But NOT because of what EJ said.

I voted Mclaren, but if MSC announces his retirement plans at Monza I can really see Hamilton going there.

He would be an idiot to leave McLaren. Having said that, he is behaving like an idiot so perhaps he will.

With hindsight - yes indeed! ;)

I thought the default was public, but apparently not. The next time I will - along with a "warning" that it's a public poll - Although, at least for the subject matter here, it's hardly "sensitive" - Just a bunch of armchair QB's BSing.

I wonder if the mods can change it retroactively? If no one has any objections of course! (?) I too would be interested in "who's where" on this......

    Cheers,
    Ian

You should've thrown in a price too for the folks who got it right. Voters should all throw something into the pot!

I don't think the Maclaren team want another 15 years of not having a driver win the WC there. :)

Obviously not a fan of Jenny then!?.....

Seems to me that unless Lulu gets his head together Jenny has the best chance of bringing a WDC back to Woking. He's fast, consistent, keeps his head down, very rarely makes a mistake and works hard at it.

Lulu *may* ultimately be very slightly quicker, but even that's debatable these days. For sure, if I were Ron I'd keep Jenny around. He's playing hardball with Lulu's "people" it seems, and if they don't cave he'll let him walk IMO.

    Cheers,
    Ian

The Brit press are saying RD is over his affair with LH. He is public about his feelings in more than 1 forum -" LH drives for Mclaren, not the other way around."

Im thinking he is going to take a pay cut and that is something his management are not happy about nor is LH of course. RD warned them in Silverstone that adjustment was coming.

With the RRA coming back in force I see pay going DOWN for drivers. LH will be the test case. Like Ive posted before, if LH were let go no loss. No driver is bigger than the sport. I didnt miss MS or Kimi, the same for LH.

The Cans are holding up any RRA, so I'm not sure that "it's coming back in force". We'll see I guess.

However, I'm 99% sure that driver salaries are explicitly excluded from any RRA that may be implemented. [Sorry! ;)]

    Ian

My question from other Lewis thread:

Well, everyone just step on the brakes here...

it just dawned on me that no one has mentioned how Mercedes themselves remain unclear on whether they want to even still compete in F1 for 2013 and beyond...they still have yet to sign the Concorde agreement by Bernie right?

I'd say Bernie has a bigger say in what goes down in F1, than you might think, and that includes drivers on different teams. Its all about the show.;)
