May I ask why you are considering going from a mid engine to a front engine car? Is it just the apperance or is there some other reason?

Since you like to drive your car (based on the mileage), I would not recommend the 550. It is a more comfortable car, but the V12 is a little more challenging to drive around town.

I come from Ferrari V8s. Your statement is not true at all of the 550M. It is so tractable around town and collects way fewer stares you feel like you are in a toyota yet will break speed laws quickly and with no fanfare. The 550 will burn rubber in 3 gears and is surprisingly quick when you get on it. The 550 is more like a ferrari for grown-ups.

+1 SO Comfortable!! ... SO FAST!!! At 6'5" you can actually stretch out.

Marketing slogan should have been "Worlds fastest living room"
