This video shows two different cars, the first one being clearly a mule for something else, not the F70 prototype. The second is the well known F70 prototype.

Indeed - the one with the hunchback is a powertrain test mule, the more recently revealed one incorporates the actual F70 chassis. >8^) ER
curious quote from this online article? true or flase? http://insidemclaren.com/2012/09/mclaren-unveils-the-p12-as-we-see-it/
Maybe read the bottom of the page next time? This fictional unveiling has been brought to you by InsideMcLaren, McLarenLife, FerrariChat, and a number of other false and accurate sources. P12 sketches done by Mark Antar.
Do you think Ferrari would deny their customers of the privilege of their car burning to the ground by having the cars burn before the customer experience begins?
Ok, I wanted to stress that they're two different cars, not the same, as I thought the video was misleading or at least that was my impression when reading someone's surprise about the mirrors. I thought the mule was maybe for the 458 scud, F70 powertrain sounds OK, I must have forgotten as I've actually seen it before. In any case I wasn't stating anything incorrect as I said the first car was not the F70prototype, which isn't, the prototype or chassis mule being the second car. My point being I'm not a noob following the F70 progress though I might have slipped about the powertrain mule, which BTW is pretty old news.
You made a mistake its not a biggie... The mirror comment was to do with the P12 render... Both cars are being used for developing the f70..... Anyway case closed let get back to subject at hand Ferrari have a good one
I remember that the first teaser of the f12 was online 18 days prior to the date of submission to the salon de mars, so if ferrari is in the same way the first teaser of the new enzo will be online this week. what you think ?
+1 ferrari doesn't mind waiting to reveal it's cars later if it means getting an unspoiled spot light
with the competition of this year I think that ferrari in can't afford to delay its new supercar its puts in shadow and the salon de paris is the perfect and traditional place for ferrari. Let us not forget that di montezemolo had announced the new enzo by end of year, the salon de paris corresponds exactly to its assertions
Personally I'm starting to believe we are all off with the timing. Their is no way Ferrari is going to over shadow the F12. The F12 hasn't even hit the street in the states yet. I think the F70 will be shown by the end of the year and the official launch will be some time next year with delivers starting in Europe the spring then the USA in the fall.

Thinking the same thing as well.
In Paris Will be presented something concerning the chassis, not the complete car. Customer preview before the end of the year, pubblic unveil 2013, for sure no Paris 2012
The car is not ready for launch and simply no way for Paris. I understand Geneva next year. My dealer only recently submitted his list of potential clients for a private view and so far none of them have been asked for that. Paris, simply no way and even more so taking into account the F12.
Ferrari will present the new enzo in detached piece lol. Jokes apart, the salons of the Ferrari next year has already provided the 458 scuderia and the new california his is going to be difficult to found the place for the new enzo.
It's obviously that Ferrari is going to show something in Paris. I've checked the exhibitors list and Ferrari will be present. But what are they going to show is a very big question. - 458 Scuderia? I really doubt it. No mules or something similar. - New California? The same problem. - The F12 again? Why? It's big auto show for something that isn't new. - The F70? Why not? With the engine shown in Beijing a few months ago and the high number of mules and prototypes spotted recently, and knowing that Ferrari tests its cars with a lot of camouflage, even the last days before the unveiling, isn't a crazy idea.
