What do you think Mr Glickenhaus? Is the idea of the F70 in Paris so crazy as some have put forward?

I thought your dealer told you it would be?

Personally I doubt it will be.

Yes that is precisely what he said. However, I have read today on an italian magazine that the director of "Quattroruote", a famous Italian Car Review periodical, stated that it is unlikely to see the car before Detroit 2013. This made me wonder my dealer's statement, as Carlo Cavicchi (Quattroruote director) is well known to make safe predictions.

Yes, but knowing that lots of big car makes will be there showing big and new things is a very stupid movemnt to spend money being there when you won't have any expectation at all.

Ferrari doesn't need Auto Shows to sell the new Enzo. They need Auto Shows to try and sell the FF.

Yes, but with no camouflage. Thats the reason for showing a car before its ready for production. This isn't something that automakers usually do.

Didn't Ford sue them and win when they used tried to use that name for their 2012 Formula 1 car?

Or at least a successful cease and desist?

It's the internal project codename. F150
The F152 became the F12 berlinetta
    The F151 became the FF

    Cheers

If they will sell me an Aperta, I will buy an FF.

Then I will go to West Coast Customs and see what they can do with the FFFFFFFFFF'in car.

Ha. I wonder what the FF would look like with the roof chopped off.

Modified to be in the middle of the car. Why? Only for displaying the KERS?

The 599 engine is the same basic engine as the Enzo, its just a GTO mil there, and yes just for displaying the KERS. Ferrari is not going to use an old engine for its new super car. There is no reason for Ferrari to just show an engine out of a forth coming car either.

Pininfarina is known as being the best design studio for a reason.
The first few Ferrari designs are going to be a little rough IMO

True, a lot of people didn't like the Enzo.

But IMO the design of the Enzo is going to be remembered better and respected more compared to the F-12.

    Time will tell!

The performance of the new car is going to be record breaking. The use of KERS and a dual clutch V-12 is a total game-changer. The electric motors will vastly improve the 0-20 mph time. And having no loss of power during gear shifts thanks to the dual clutch will make the F-70 the fastest car Ferrari has ever produced.

I very much doubt it! 0-20 is already traction limited, so more power is pointless in this speed range unless the f70 is 4wd. Did you mean to say that KERS would improve the 0-200 time? That would be possible...
