Though for the most part my passion for cars has been replaced with new things I hope some of you will decide to spend $10.00 to support a fellow Fchatter. It seems my novel Mr. Breeze has gotten the attention of some folks in Hollywood and there will soon be a national media campaign. The sequel Revelation the return of Mr. Breeze is due out at the end of the year. It is available at all major booksellers and it even has a Ferrari and a track in it. Thanks for your support!

Well it has started I did my first interview yesterday and my PR firms have requests for about 50 more and the book is in the hands of three different production companies. Looks like it took 41 years but my dream of be a writer has come true! It is a book about hope so I hope it touches everyone who reads it in some way.

I am amazed by what hs been happening yesterday I taped a 42 minute interview that will air soon, there are over 150 requests for interviews and a treatment of the book is being done for the movie studios. The critics seem to love it as well and some of the things that have been said humble me, and that is not an easy thing to do. For those in the Phila area, you will be seeing, hearing, and seeing and hearing me on local media in the next few months. I hope some of you read the book before the sequel comes out in January.

    Morrie,

Congrats on getting published. It's something many people talk about but never actually do.

I will have to pick up a copy for my next trip :)

    That's great, Morrie. Congratulations.

I'm a ways behind you on the writer's road and in another genre, making a serious and organized effort to get done with a marketable product.

I'll check out amazon for your book.

Great news Morrie! Did you self-publish or go the traditional route?

I've written three unpublished novels with no success. My hat's off to you!

Thank you all, the www.mrbreezethenovel.com website is being redone (old one still up) and the new one will have audio and video clips of some of my interviews. The sequel should be out in late January, they want to hold it back because of the holidays. I was fortunate enough to write something like no one had ever seen before, but even with that finding a publisher to even listen to me was impossible. So I said the heck with that published myself and banged on the biggest PR doors in LA, NY, and Philly until they agreed to read Mr. Breeze and guess what they all loved it. So the dream I've had since I was 14 to be an author comes true and now lots of people have come knocking at my door. They tell me I am a natural at this interviewing stuff and I will try and get the link to the lastest one and post it. I tell my sons like (it is in the dedication to them) Never stop dreaming you never know when they might come true and I believe that.

Thanks Scott, hope you enjoy it. Have few more interviews this week including a show out of Hollywood in which the only thing they want to talk to me about is how I see Mr. Breeze adapted to the big screen. I have to say I am getting more of a thrill out of this than all the cars I've own combined. They already want to know about the 3 other novels I have planned after the Mr. Breeze sequel comes out.

Later today I have an interview with an LA film magazine about making my novel Mr. Breeze into a film so I thought I'd read as many comments as I could to see what people think makes a good film. For me at least movies these days are either remakes, of older movies with more special effects, comic book characters, vampires or werewolves, or very dumbed down humor (which is not too bad at times).

There are very few original ideas and even less stories with any depth at all, and almost none that leave you with any message other than I spent two hours of my life sitting in a theater. I'm no movie critic but I think we could all use a film that can entertain us and leave us with a god feeling and something to think about when its over. These are things I plan to discuss later today. If anyone has suggestions please let me know I will be checking this thread throughout the day.

I'll have the second draft of volume I of my trilogy substantially completed this weekend and intend to take a few days' break from writing and read some before the final run to get it ready for my editor. Mr. B is next up in my Kindle queue.

Amazing about such fast Hollywood interest in Mr. Breeze -could we be looking at another Marley and Me?

Yes, I would be thrilled as well, much more so than over car ownership.

Well I think it may be the fact that no one has ever heard of or read anything like it before. There are very few original things coming from Hollywood these days. I did an interview last night with an LA film magazine and the interviewer (who has been around over 20 years) read the book and he thought it would make a great film and he told me he had never read anything even close to it before, and cannot wait for the sequel. I may have just gotten lucky!

I am not very good with computers so I do not know how to put these links up, but if you search Mr. Breeze the novel there are a couple of videos one is a book trailer sort of like a movie trailer and the other is an interview with me talking about the book. I never thought my little book would cause such a stir but with running my businesses and now that my boys are back in school I do not have the time to do all the interview requests I am getting. I hope they find the sequel as interesting.

Missed this thread until now - To say I'm impressed is an understatement. Buzz like you're getting is not just special, it's a powerful bargaining tool for your Literary Agent. Hope there's not too many hiccups along the way to getting all your ducks in a row!

Looked it up a little more on T'interweb. I bought it as it has been a while since I read a book. I have read in the past most of Stephen King's novels up until Duma Key and then my love for cars took over. :D
I have also read plenty of crime/thriller novels including John Grisham & Peter James to name a few. I have tried reading some of Jeremy Clarkson's latest books and even car magazines but apart from that book on Kindle about owning a Ferrari (F355) also ironically once a poster on here I think, nothing.

Anyway this sounds very interesting so I bought it. My girlfriend is new to Stephen King on something I mentioned and I know for certain she will read this but here's hoping I perhaps start reading again.

The reviews keep coming in for Mr. Breeze each one seems better than the last. It looks like people are getting the message I intended. I just finished the sequel on Monday and it is going of to the editors after a couple of read throughs. I think it is time for a two picture deal Hollywood. Find out more at the new www.mrbreezethenovel.com Like the reviews say everyone over 12 years old should have to read this book! And yea I'm excited this makes owning a nice car seem like nothing!
