That's the thing with Ferrari. They always need maintenance so a maintenance light would be redundant. :)

Can you be more specific about what light is on?

There is a maintenance reminder light on the Mondial 3.2 on the display pad located next to the gear shift that clicks on every 15K mlles or so. It works off the odometer IIRC. It has been over four years since I had to reset the light so my memory has really faded, but IIRC there is a button under the front bonnet near the windshield and on the side of one of the components (I don't recall which anymore--Heck, its been so long since I have owned my Mondial, I don't even recall what components are under the front bonnet :( ). Anyway, again IIRC, the button is accessed by sticking a narrow phillips head screwdriver into a hole in a particular component under the hood and pushing it to reset the the light.

Jay Goodman probably has a much better recollection of how to do this than I, as he has done it far more recently.

I hope this helps until a better response comes along

AhhHa, Obviously Ferrari looked into the future and saw that we'd someday need a place for our cell phones, and got rid of that panel. How did they not foresee Starbucks and the cupholder?

You can find a description on how to do it in the Mondial QV Workshop Manual, it is in the ferraridatabe download section
You have to remove one of the plugs of the black box that is in the front boot, right hand side, close to the A/C dryer (not sure if it is the dryer)
Insert a screwdriver to push a button
I just did it in my 3.2 Mondial, 30sec job

On my QV there's an odometer box under the front bonnet, near the A/C receiver/dryer unit... has a concealed push button on it accessible via a hole on the box, push that and it resets. This is all from memory and sorry, no pics, as I'm expected in the office soon :( I'm sure there is plenty in the service manual or via a F-chat search.

Edit: Frank beat me to it while I was slowly typing!

I think Ferrari may have foreseen it, that's why there's a business card holder that can be easily converted into a cupholder compliments of Russ! LoL

If your center console has the round rear vents for the passengers in back (not sure all do), the grilles easily pull out... the resulting hole is perfect for holding your Cappuccino whilst hurtling through the West Bend at Lime Rock.

Nice cupholder, but how do you prevent the lid from slamming against the cup (say, under braking)??

Seems it would work better if you put one in the open area just behind the coin tray.......

    Regards,
    Jerry

    Hi Joe,
the maintenance warning light you are referring to on the check control panel is labelled as: Manutenzione Service Due.
This can be seen on one of the diagrams on this thread further up by Sourcourp and is light number 7. Instructions to reset are in the handbook. Unfortunately i dont have a scanner here to show you but its definitely there if you have the book.
    Thanks, Peter.
