    Yeah. That's bad.

I wonder how folks don't see want they're doing?

Hey, maybe the guy got rich by owning a few McDonalds franchises or he reeeaaally enjoys eating the stuff or maybe he is the original actor that played Ronald McDonald or maybe he is related to Ray Kroc or maybe the guy is color blind and only sees shades of gray.

In all seriousness ...isn't there a guy who does own a bunch of McD's and specs all his Fcars like this? ....seems like I read this somewhere.

    Then that makes sense...

I like the yellow calipers. Mine are black now. I'm going to have them painted.

My fire extinguisher and the alcantra bag it sits in are looking rough. Anyone done anything to spruce them up? Can a new bag be purchased? made?

The rest of my interior looks new. If I could only find a way for it to smell new I'd be golden. Maybe I'll buy a catchers mitt at Dick's sporting goods and hide it under a seat.

Now the catcher's mitt is an idea, yet I think the new car smell can only happen when it is a new car (due to the accumulation of all those dead skin cells and all that breathing). LOL!
    Be glad it isn't funky.

It's not funky. Just doesn't smell new. Looks new, doesn't smell new.

Catchers mitt under the seat would complete the illusion.

How much leather do you have in that thing Jason? If yours is like mine then about the only leather is he steering wheel. You wont get a lot of scent from that. My Stradale has a scent from the alcantara that I like.- But I have to sniff my key fob to get any leather scent.

That has me thinking of a letter I read from "Capt Slow" (James May / Top Gear) when he was choosing his F430. He spoke directly about the scent he was welcomed with when he got in, and spoke to he fact that he choose a "regular" 430 with all the leather that the Scud (or the Strad) just does not have - to get the scent you speak of.

He went on to say that "this was part of the experience that I wanted".

I personally save the leather scent for my touring cars.

My CS has mostly leather and very little Alcantra. Just the upper dash is Alcantra.

I love new car smell. Not much smells better. Really the only way you can tell my car isn't new is the smell.

To my understanding it still resides in Wis, but is being lightly cosigned via an out of state Ferrari dealer. If it gets a buyer at $160k+ (I believe that was the asking number they settled on) the car will move on.

If you had bought Apple stock instead of the F40 in 1992 the value today would be worth $19 million.

That's the point. Drive your cars because you're not gonna make money on them.

Ferris Bueller said it best, "A man with priorities so far out of whack doesn't deserve such a fine automobile."
