I've driven that turbo s cab. Highly optioned car with a chip, very cool car.

 

That car is definitely a V8 (100% sure), 2012 model. I got an up close look at it Saturday night downtown, and have seen it around quite a bit. Whoever said its a V12 obviously doesn't know Astons, lol ;-)

There are a couple of V12 6 speed manual transmission Vantage's running around cleveland. Matter of fact, a white one just came off the truck at Aston Martin Cleveland.

The one photographed on that flickr page is definitely a V12

 

Why does it have a V8 hood and wheels? Unless I'm really missing something it's a V8.

 

I believe the wheels on this one was changed, and it should have the hood with the carbon vents. You can tell from the back because of the duckbill spoiler.

Any photos of the hood thats on the car?

Of all the vantage's anything with a proper 6 speed stick tranny is a V12.

 

The duckbill spoiler became standard on the base V8 starting with late-2012 models and newer, which this car is (owner traded in his black 4porte for it last month). No photos of the hood, I'll try to get one next time I see it though.

Your right after looking at it some more that is the V8. The V12 is the darker grey.
