THE F70 (LaFerrari) Thread

I am really hoping Ferrari follows McLaren's logo head lamps and we'll see prancing horse head lamps on the new Enzo.

Given how much they're apt to be driven after dark they might as well.

 

Maybe they can make the whole nose like a horse head and the eyes can glow as lights. Then they can make the upholstery in manga styled Ferrari WDCs print and use the car for the new Pokemon movie.......

For the people who have seen it, I have a simple question. Only if they can disclose it - two or four stoplights on the new Enzo? And I assume they will still be round...

how can you fools compare the P1 to the 458! P1 was probably on the drawing board years ago! do some of you really expect a design process to be done within a year? no!

Every other Ferrari in the current production line has two--my guess will be two. Then again -it is just a guess....

 

We can´t really, the 458 it´s a design masterpiece...the P1, well, it´s very far from that...

Sorry but I have to laugh at people comparing cars like ones stolen design cues, only a blind bat would think a 458 looks like a P1, its like the stupid Apple sueing frenzy situation.

I really like the concept design of the P4/5 LM, looks beautiful, them curves!

Master piece? far from it... that bendy plastic on the bumper doesn't even work! and plus why is it setting on fire if its so much of a masterpiece? not to mention they presented a tuned up version for the press to try it before they launch the actual thing. Give me the F12.

 

Jim, again the photos you and I saw of the P12 were far nicer, than the 3 released. One last thing, as this is a Ferrari website, there is going to be some bias to the badge, regardless of looks.

 

True and I do think the P12 will look better in the carbon but McLaren are breaking new ground as I tried to explain in the post you quoted and in doing so have designed a car to create very high downforce as opposed to something classically beautiful. The 918 is classically beautiful and I think think the New Enzo will be as well but the P 12 will really work as an aerodynamic device and that work will result in phenomenal lap times here to fore unseen from a street legal production sportscar.
