As you see the Radio was a big deal. We bought this one in Atlanta from "Baker Motors" in Buckhead. We drove a Daytona Sypder the same day, it was fly yellow, but drove like a truck and the dino was way more fun. So, the $21,000 Daytona did not come home. But really we would have sold it when it hit $45,000 thinking that would have been all the money. Back then Million Dollar cars did not exist. Preston Henn bought his 275 for about the same money, and he still has it, was offered, he said, $15 Million Dollars for it in Pebble Beach.
Fun Years................... yet many mistakes............ but fun.......... but............................................

This was the first Ferrari I ever drove (1972) - as I recall, they were about $13,000 in 1972.

They wanted about $3,000 over my 1972 Porsche 911T coupe.

I didn't buy it because I wasn't sure it was a "real Ferrari".

No we sold the car in about a year, we got a new Ferrari every year, so we did not keep them as a possible collector car.
I have some photos somewhere. I think someone in here told me that it lives in Ohio.

Just to keep things in perspective, total expenses including room and board at Stanford in the early 1970's was $5K for an academic year. :)
