As steve matchett said, all the corners look the same. Very boring to watch the cars on track.

Geez, did we watch the same race? Maybe it was good for me as it was the first F1 race I have attended. Also a Singapore fan so maybe I am biased!

Indeed. I always found it to be boring. However, i'm planning to go there next year and check it out myself.

It's not a track and it's a terrible and awkward street circuit, it has no flow to it like Monaco, or like how Jersey will be. I will be in Jersey, I'm just waiting for the official weekend and I will book airfair. I lived in NYC for a while and look forward to going back for a weekend of F1, plus that circuit they have worked out is incredible, I've driven some of those streets.

Actually visiting the city and attend the GP will most likely make you think it's a brilliant race venue and city.

TV images don't tell half the story.

Raced in Porsche Carrera Cup support race at Singapore in the last 3 years. Absolutely love it.

Singapore provides the surealistic views but the track sucks. The chicanes are contrived and poorly executed, the surface seems bumpy, the layout is uninspiring. I think Schumacher's problems there the last two years are due to the poor lighting. They should strap Bernie to the front of a car and make him do a couple of laps just to scare the ***** out of him. Singapore might bring in money for him but it doesn't appear to have the attendance of other venues based on the seating I saw from the broadcast. I consider this race the worst of the entire schedule but that is just me.

+1 to the sentiment. It is very difficult to pass and therefore it becomes a procession.
Massa overtaking move that almost took him out was the highlight of the race.
Other than that, if it's not for the Safetey car, Vettel could have gone to bed early,
no way Button was going to get close.

I'd be very surprised If they don't do something with turn 10, that horrible chicage in which so many fly and then crash. I hate those three little improv chicanes.

I must be in the minority, but I'm glad this race will be back another 5 years. I can't wait for the first rainy Singapore GP, because I think it will be an instant classic.

Without the lights and the sensational backdrop; the most worthless track.

I watched the daytime GP2 race to see where the best seats would be.
    My conclusion;
    Home.

And GP2 is often very entertaining since there are lots of good action... so that says
    something.

I agree that the atmostphere, the place, the allure, being at night; it's all good, but
the track is not the most exciting that there is. No different that Detroit or Phoenix
years ago. Monaco as someone said it has a rhythm or 'flow', but one can take so many
90 degree turns. If I look at the Monaco layout, only Tabac and Saint Devote can
be considered 90 degree turns but they don't feel like, specially Tabac taken in 4th gear.

LOL! Personally, even though Hungararoring is also considered a boring track for the fans, it has a great flow. I've tried my luck on the PS with the SIngapore track. No luck! Could not find the flow and proper lines!

True the Scuderia has worked mightily to improve their 2012 car, but Fred is the main reason that it is getting the results it has. The Pirelli tire drop off and this bs having to use different sets during a race add artificial drama and allow slower cars to do one stop at times and place higher.
How frustrating it is to see Alonso outpaced just at the end of several Grand Prix by other cars due to tire strategy, ect.
I think Alonso is highly unique in his role with Ferrari and there really aren't any other recent Ferrari pilots that are like him in recent years, including Shoemaker whom I was never a great fan of.
Yes the Singapore track is featureless, but it is definitely challenging and a good edition to the series.
Hopefully the Spa misfortune will not be the telling factor in losing the WDC for Fred.

I think the only fortunate thing that happened in SPA for Alonso, was that Hamilton got wiped out as well.

It's taken 5 races to work this out?
