    Hi Jim,

    There are codes for Grey (non USA) market models.
    For warranty work, warranty card must have the actual dealers stamp with a receipt from that store and be a USA model. If the receipt shows a price that exceeds the Luminox MAP (Max ad price) price, the stores account will no longer be an active account.
    If the watch is a grey market piece, no work will be performed in or out of warranty.
    And case parts are not available from anyone except the service centers.
    If I wanted a crown for an original 3000 series, I cannot get it. This is not new, this has something to do with the NRC (re. Tritium) licensing that the service centers have.
    They are the only ones that have the case parts for Luminox watches.
    We are only allowed to stock straps and bracelets

    Luminox is really cracking down on grey market goods. A lot of change happening now within the company. From the looks of things, the clean up is in progress.
    By January, it will be an new world for Luminox and their supporting dealers (like VTC).

    In this case, change is good :)

    I got my watch today Chris, thank you for your business.

    Guys, I can recommend the Zeppelin watches. They are understated but I have received compliments so it gets attention. Very classy, decent quality and with a right price tag.

    Will post pictures in the "what are you wearing today" thread in a day or two, and maybe buy more in the future!
