The description amazes me.. Moderate hit.. The rear quarters are repairable.. Maybe the left but not the right.. Aluminum is tough to repair.. The rear engine frame is shot as well.. Oh but wait.. the gear box mount is a easy fix.. The red front bonnet is trash as well. The guy who put this ad up on ebay and wrote this ad really needs a foot up the ass.. The bigger the better.. I must say the car looks familiar.. I remember that aluminum coolant tank.. Just can't remember. This car is a parts car, not a repairable. Needs too much and will cost too much to get her right.. Even if the car was $1,000.00. There is good parts value here.. The engine, gear box, interior (even though that red is disgusting, it looks like vinyl), things can always be recovered, the doors are good, front suspension, and right rear suspension. Left rear suspension looks pushed forward a bit. What a shame.. If you go by this guys description all you need are a few ratchets, wrenches, and $10,000 and you have yourself a great TR.. Careful boys.. Careful..

Not for that € 27.000 .... better buy one for € 40.000 with no damage imo.

It's a parts car....no more than that. Cost more to fix than its present market value.

Either way, the cost of parts needed to save her OR the value of parts that could be sourced from her will easily add up to a decent 512TR.

Broken transmission mout form a "moderate" hit!? WTF

It's actually a (large) gearbox casting that is broken -- the mount is fine ;)

    ;) hehehe

A project like this only makes sense if you had another (F113B?) TR with a blown motor/gearbox (and could get both for about £12K each)

While the interior color keeps making me want to poke my eyes out, it looks to be in very good shape. However, what's up with the one photo in the eBay ad where the front bonnet is red instead of white? Interesting coolant expansion tank...

The red one he is throwing in as the repairable one. This guy who is selling this car is an *******. I agree if you had another TR with a blown motor and trans. you can use this as donor car..

The aluminum could be welded possibly.
This car is a perfect candidate for rebody, maybe a CanAm style car?

You'll need a good frame rack but the chassis is workable if you have a back lot full of donor parts.

You never know what a radio active TR can do. I might just mend itself. Here nicely illustrated by Kavinsky:
