Is there no honour? I remember Lewis saying he'd be spending the rest of his career at McLaren.

I guess he changed his mind :)

I think one must have severe brain issues to leave the second most winningest team in F1, and the one that has sponsored him for half his life for a team that severely reduces his chances of winning. Surely that's all an F1 driver wants...

Balls that Brawn is in the team though...either very troubled times for Hamilton ahead and he'll leave after 2 years in a fit for not winning races, or he does a schumacher...

That door swings both ways. McLaren is not blameless in how this thing was fouled up. Blind loyalty can be equated to naiveté.

What's going to irritate me the most is that the day that Hamilton wins a GP we will NEVER hear the end of it that he's better than Schu is because he did what schu couldn't do...Of course the real arm chair experts like us will know it'll be different cars all together but still...

Wouldn't Lewis need to win over 90 gp's and 7 world championships before anyone says that?

Not really. Any serious fan would be able to tell that Schumacher is doing much better than Rosberg this year, it's just that he has had terrible luck. I'm no Schumacher fan, but I can't deny that he would have won atleast 1 race (Monaco), if he hadn't been hit with a previous race penalty. Add to that a podium in Valencia, and already he has a better record than Rosberg.

;) You, me, and the majority of others here if true......

    +1 :(

Does the Young Lad have a contract next season?..... How about the Schu stays and he's out? :) Makes as much sense as anything else right now! And the Schu -v- Lulu would be "interesting" to say the least...... ;)

Yep! Anyone else reckon Checo will bag a title before Lulu gets another?

BTW, "McHam" seems to have run it's course. "MerHam" doesn't quite work. Lulu it is I think....... ;)

    Haven't we all!?....

    OK, so we reckon we've got;

    Maccy-L; Jenny & Checo
Merc; The Young Lad & Lulu
F-cars, The Cans, FI & Fauxtus; As is
    Sauber; Kobycrashy + TBA

If true, I'm disappointed the Schu is done, but beyond that, OK I guess......

    Cheers,
    Ian

Young Nico has already won with it of course! :)

While I'm disappointed it seems that the Schu is done, Lulu -v- Nico should be fun - I'm not certain it's gonna be the "slaughter" many are expecting........

    Cheers,
    Ian

Perhaps next year, but after reading about all the talent Brawn has been stockpiling I wouldn't bet against Mercedes in 2014 I don't know what to expect in 2013, but we could be looking at "Renault/Infiniti McLaren" or "Ferrari McLaren" in two years.

I think there is much more to this than the Brackley guys getting Hamilton. I think the whole "Superteam" deal may have some legs....Lewis is just their crown jewel.
