Not a nobody mate, not by any means. Likely a good, decent, hard working man.....salt of the earth to these eyes, great that he gets an unexpected smile on an average day.

I'm on the other side of the spectrum here. I thought it was a horrible review; an average Joe behind the wheel of a car with no real knowledge of the car or brand besides what he was told at the media briefing. The "Let's loose this Panda like a bad Chinese Zoo" quote and the fact that he gave the man a ride was very good. Other than that, I didn't find it to be a good review of the F12. Sorry, just my honest opinion.

I'm sorry that I don't find the video funny at all.

Hillarious. This was not supposed to be a technical review of the car, but an entertaining view for YAHOO patrons, who likely have no technical knowledge.

    It worked.

Ezra is a great journalist, but I think he should stick to writing and not being on the lens side of the camera. His articles are well-written, though the video wasn't any good. I do know that he is a huge car guy...obviously with writing but he knows a thing or two.

ezra probably is my favorite auto journalist. i think he writes excellent reviews on all the cars he tests and i like the camera work he does as well. i think its a step away from the normal, almost mechanical style of video reviewing cars... talk specs, pretty shots, power slide, rinse and repeat. at least he comes at it like a normal person would. not all of us are racers after all.

Like this "review" or not it is entertaining. That's what it's supposed to be. If you decide to or not to buy an F12 or any car based on a "review" and not actually experiencing the car you might have issues.

Ezra Dyer was actually the protege of the late David E Davis Jr. When Ezra was 14 he wrote Davis a lette rat Automobile asking for a job. After not getting a response he then wrote a couple of articles a week and sent them to Davis. After a few had piled up on David's desk he cab bed in and read them. He immediately offers Dyer a job and mentored the young man until his death. His articles are excellent and he is a massive car guy. My best friend and I ran into him at a gas station in California in 2012 (he was driving a 458 Italia) and he was super nice and really knows his stuff. A true asset to the Automobile community.

I've never heard of him before that video, so pardon my ignorance. Hence, I've never (knowingly) read any of his articles. As someone mentioned before, he usually writes instead of doing on-camera reviews. Perhaps if I were to read one of his articles, my mindset would change. To me, honestly, that video was nothing special in the journalism aspect of it.

Ezra is my absolute favorite auto journalist, I buy automobile mag just for his columns. I thought it was a good, yet very unconventional review.

Never heard of him before, but what a refreshing change to Mr Clarkson, the know-it-all-who-knows-nothing!

Great "review" mind you this is the for the average joes out there that would have gotten bored 20 seconds into a real review.

He did well for this sort of target audience.

Liked it. It was what it was and funny for it. I do wish, though, that they hadn't used YouTube's horrible image stabilisation - always makes me feel as if I'm drunk when I'm watching a video with it enabled.
