Just got this, thanx CNC for this amazing car. Like new!!! Had to sell the 355 which broke my heart Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice! A bit of a tangent, but how do you like the stereo? Can you see the screen well (viewing angle)? Does it have a backup camera?
To be honest the stereo is ok. Sounds really good and can carry some tone but it's not like top of the line by any means. But the alpine system does well. It does have the rear view camera option which my girlfriend wants me to install
What is mounted on the steering column? Also, do you find that the aftermarket screen block the airflow from the vents?
Enjoy the ride. A lot roomier than a 355. Good luck with the new one!!!! Beautiful car and congratulations!!!
Then gentleman that owned it before me had the passport radar system installed. I thought it was all a gimmick until I found out this is supposedly highly sophisticated. Works really well, has 2 lasers in the front and on in back.
When the screen is out it does block the middle vent a bit, when we have the AC on I just rotate it closed. The side ones are ok.
Why did you sell the 355? I thought you recently purchased the 355. Is the 360 more fun to drive in your honest opinion?
Awesome car and I guarantee that you will enjoy the benefits and advantages that it has over any 355.
Had the 355 for 4 months, was gonna keep it for a year then upgrade but all of a sudden the 360's came a bit down in price and for a few weeks there the 355 prices shot up. Craig at FastCars was able to get me 5K MORE!! than I paid for the 355 (the car really was super clean, red tan spider recent belt etc) and my girlfriend and me were like hey let's jump on this opportunity. Then all of a suuden this 360 came to cnc and a buyer backed out so it all worked out. Now my honest opinion: the 360 is in a whole different league, a huge difference. The 355 is striking, someday when money is now object I will always have 355, it's a go-cart, pure race car, hot!!! Wanted one since I'm a kid. But as you know it can be pricey on service. I got lucky buying mine from Craig cause all was pre done and I was gonna own it for a year headache free but I wouldn't wanna be in a situation where the 355 needs some serious work done...Just a pure hot Ferrari and the 355 is an absolute blast to drive also the best sounding engine ever build on a Ferrari, period. The 360 is a whole different thing. It's like you went from a old Camry to a new Lexus. Huge interior, great sound system, Ice cold AC, modern interior, lighter (all aluminum), super comfy, more power etc. My girlfriend (women are a great neutral indication) is loooving it. The car drives completely different though. Mine is a 02 with upgraded tcu, the F1 shifting compared to my 98 355 is worlds apart, super smooth between gears, especially 1st to 2nd where as the 355 was jury. The torque is sick and gradual-hit around 4000 rpm and the 360 will leave the 355 behind. The car is much bigger and wider, overall 10%. Much classier, you can take it country club or track. Just overall better and newer and you can just tell the difference in engineering and technology. Again, the best comparison i can give you is like when i sold my old camry and got new lexus, everything over time has advanced. Last but not least THE COST of service!! The 360 obviously doesn't need an engine out etc and, in theory at least lol, will cost a fraction to maintain than the 355 has a potential to.Not saying cheap but I'd take my chances with a 360 anyday. As always do what I did, spend a lot of time on pre-investigating when buying (which to me is the most fun). Again, I'm very lucky cause I have FastCars in Redondo Beach down the street and Craig has build a reputation on being upfront and honest (which I can't say when I started going thru official dealers back when I was still away from making a Ferrari a reality) and so my life was a it easier when I called him and said "hey, you think i can sell my 355 and get a 360?" I miss the 355, for a lot of reasons. But I am in love with the 360 and it feels complete. If this was the last Ferrari I owned, I'd be happy.
Great looking car, one thing that would finish it off would be a set of Power Daytona seats Make you a great deal! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=10652
