Parked on the street, being serviced. . . in all my life, I've only seen one GTO in person. I understand that it was owned by a fellow in Aspen and has since been sold. I don't know the serial number or even remember the owner's name.
Thanks, Joe! What more can you share about this car? I don't need to know the owners' names or anything private, but. . . what makes it "VERY" good? (Of course, it did look quite nice to me, as the humble owner of a 308. )
Ex-Jacques Swaters, 2,200 genuine miles from new, much reported in this thread, part of an all-4 Supercar collection now.
Spotted in Italy recently. This GTO is registered TI.76742. Lets see how good we are: chassis number? Image Unavailable, Please Login

Here is a rare white one for sale... http://www.talacrest.com/Ferrari-Sales/Chris-Evans-1985-Ferrari-288-GTO-LHD/2160.htm
just heard of a 288 for sale in the UK, from speedmaster cars www.speedmastercars.com. i don't know chassis number or mileage but they are asking gbp 725k. at todays exchange rate that's $1.17m, add duty if you are in the US and that's a pre sales tax price of $1.2m. the car looks red and shiny in the pictures, but tough to tell much more than that. Actually in one of the pictures you can just see the front license plate and it appears to be GTO 13. no doubt between us we know exactly what car that is.
It is 56769. It has been for sale for a good few months now and probably will be for more months to come at that price. Paul
