    This is Lewis' race to lose. MB may be up for a podium if they have that new setup and 'device' working correctly. Lotus will do very well here as well. I'm completely in the dark on how Red Bull or Ferrari will go here, Vettel and Nando will make something of it though.

    Just announced that Jenson is in for a 5 place gearbox change penalty. Apparently, his was about to fail in the same way as Lulu's - Who doesn't get a penalty as he didn't finish BTW.

    As long as Alonso finishes ahead of Vettel and in the points, I could not care less who finishes where.......of course as long as they give us a nice race.

    I just heard Ferrari are bringing updates to their rear suspension so they can run the new rear wing they tried running in Singapore.


    I also heard Merc are trying something completely different with their setups to try and get more out of this new Coanda exhaust. I heard their newly found bounty of rear end downforce is having more of an effect on the front end than the rear which is very much counter intuitive to what one would normally assume.

    All Alonso needs is a reliable car to win this IMO. With the top teams quite competitive already, top drivers will be trading podiums the rest of the season. Meaning Alonso can probably win the WDC with double-digit points if the car doesn't let him down. The question is how is Ferrari doing engine and tranny wise? That answer determines what chances they have to take. Hope Ferrari plays the right strategy this time around. Statistically, cars usually have at least one mechanical DNF in the season. Ferrari needs to avoid that; a grid penalty is MUCH better than a DNF.
