I miss my CS as well. My GTO is a beast and of course faster, but there is an elegance in economy. By that I mean, if you can get the job done more simply, it is inherently better.

The CS is a wonderful visceral experience and yet is still a modern car.

My only solace is that I sold it to a friend and I still get to see it!

This is really interesting to read. I have both. The CGT is certainly more special, more beautifully engineered but I enjoy driving the CS more. I thought it's because I'm comfortable with it having owned it longer but maybe it's something else.... I guess I just need to drive the CGT more.

3 CS's added to the marketplace this week. Interesting part is all 3 have higher asking prices then most previous time they were for sale.

    1) Rosso Scuderia, no stripe, 2k miles, $159k, last for sale Sept. 2010

    2) Rosso Scuderia, aftermarket stripe, 14.5k miles, $145k, last for sale Dec. 2010

    3) Giallo Modena, factory stripe, 7.4k miles, $159.9k, last for sale Jan. 2011

When I post about CS's (coming) for sale, I inevitably receive a handful of PM's; some are from legit buyers and others are usually tire kickers. Note, if you don't leave your name or have your profile even partially filled out I will not respond. After all, it's nice to know who's asking for help.

BTW, CS inventory is creeping back up. 16 currently for sale on the open market though avg asking has remained steady in low $150's. Not shabby for an 8 year old car.

Andrew: Is this the car that had racing harness when it was for sale at SCC? Someone swap out the racing harness maybe? If so I looked at this car and turns out it was a very storied strad that had extensive damage from an off track excursion. I found out a couple of dealers had passed this car up before SCC had it for sale. Of course sports car company new nothing of the history at that time when I was inquiring back in 09..ahem.

    Hi All

Once again I have decided to sell my CS. It is the yellow one that was hit and repaired but with a clean title.
Most of you know the history and have seen the pictures both befoe and after. I don't have the damaged pictures on this computer but I think most have seen them and I can get them if anyone is interested. The pictures of how it looks at present are on a friend on mines web site. The car is in FL at present

    Just search the inventory.
The car is 100% mechanically perfect. To make it perfectly astetic will take between 10 and 15 k .
    Current milage is 10,024
    Quick sale price is $102500
I can be reached at 516 241 0258 or [email protected]
    Thank you George

This was a BMW event (Oktoberfast). It looks like your personal fleet would fit right in, local too. Badger Bimmers puts it on. Really laid back, comfortable, with (mostly) people who use their heads.

Gobs of track time... Unless the F40 (shown) goes up in smoke like it did. Then its track clean up time.
