The books with the car will show which of the tyres were originally fitted.

Tyre pressures are shown on a sticker on the inside frame of the drivers door.

I've got a late 09 599, with none of the above issues.

the car is a 2011 and it has bridgestones potenza 050 .. ferrari told me now that in 2011, 3 choices of tires from ferrari were pirelli, michelin, bridgestone.
front 32 psi and rear 29 psi is what i will set them at...sport mode.... then i can have them try the car again and see what it does.
you guys are being a great help and i appreciate it.

in europe, the cars are licensed by production date.. mine was december 2010.. but it is a my2011....

the tires are new. i doubt that they are defects... i hope not !

Pirelli P Zero on challenge rims came on my 599.
245/35ZR20 on the front and 305/35ZR20 on the rears.

I always found the bridgestones a very hard compound, so even the slightest moisture could catch out a less careful foot

Hmm. Are they run in yet? New tires are slippery.

It should be pirelli p zeros, tire pressures should be the same for both front and back (I have the pentagram wheels). I have the exact same problem as well and I believe it comes from either worn tires or wrong tire pressures.

Hi Carbon...Had to clear out some mail since Iam not subscribed anymore.Hope all is well on your end.

I dont know what your manual says but on my 07 its 29PSI rear 32PSI front. ...I think the two problems you stated could give him the problem hes mentioned but the tires are new and he supposedly set his tires to the correct pressures.............

BigTex 'down a ravine' reminds me of the picture on the last page in an old Road & Track. With the Ferrari Boxer sitting at an odd angle off the road, down in the forest.

Mine had the poor luck to trigger his airbag system on a sign post.

Leaving "nothing left" for the oak tree, some sixty feet later.
Even properly wearing safety belts (side impact)

I don't think your warranty will transfer to the US on a Euro car. Also, could this possibly be a tie rod issue? Just wondering
