    Hello all,

I am looking to purchase a TR and wondering if there is a way to get the build sheet or a copy of the window sticker. The dealer does not have it. I know with the newer cars they just put the VIN in their computer and out pops the build sheet. Were there many factory options, or did most if the cars come a similar way? And thanks Mr. Chairman for your very detailed list of items to look for from a few weeks ago. That should be a sticky!

AFAIK, there were no manufacturer options available (but it would confirm if it originally came with metric or imperial sized wheels). The dealer could add options (e.g., electronics) -- my TR came with an as-delivered price of ~$207K vs the ~$176K retail sticker price:

The only option in the UK was the fitted luggage at around £1900 iirc :)

AFAIK luggage was the only factory option anywhere (besides colors). As Steve mentioned, USA TRs came with speakers and antenna pre-wired, but no head unit installed. Most dealers installed the radio.

Does anyone have a photo of the USA radio compartment upon delivery? Just wonder if there was a blank panel to cover the hole or if it was just "open".

I saw one once that had no radio. It did have a black panel to cover the hole

Were certain colors optional at a cost?
