MC Alesi :D
i think i will win some negative comment but kimi ruin alonzo weekend, 1st in qualy 2nd in the race and 3rd the championship both lotus hates alonzo lol
I think Alonso was at fault with that. Similar to GRO's move on Hamilton in Spa. There was no need to push that far out and he didn't see Kimi to his left. Grosjean has so much potential for an awesome driver. He needs to calm down in first lap. A bit like Hamilton. Very fast but a bit crash-prone. Easier to get the crashing out of someone fast than make a turtoise fly I guess.
Nah he just said he didn't see the speed difference to Webber he said, seems he just can't keep track of more than one thing.
who was it that said "I can slow down a fast driver but I can't make a slow driver fast"? AJ Foyt, IIRC. (?)
the 1st squeeze is not that extreme like grosjean did to hamilton, but coming to 1st corner nothing alonzo can do with button alongside and kimi driving with a "i don't care"
I had a feeling that things would go bad for the scuderia-they always do in Japan-and I was right. Saw the first lap incident, shut the tv off and checked the results on autosport. Fred was being very philosophical about it, that he had nowhere to go, and that kimi didn't lift off. Fred also said that Ferrari hasn't made any mods to the car in the last six races.....it appears that Clifford has reached its zenith and that ain't gonna get the job done folks. Fred will end up third at most in the wdc when the dust settles.
Wow. What lousy sports here. (Massa should take Vettel out?) Kato, you fuel. If anyone was going to take out Vettel, he'd have to wait to get lapped. Even Red Bull was getting worried, when Vettel was going for fast lap at the end. The RB has it dialed in. Goodbye to another WDC.
Guess the team is on holiday, funny how neither Pat or Dominicalli have been saying much, if they really have not brought anything to the car in six races then that is criminally poor management of the team. I fear however the championship is now gone as Red Bull again seem to have found something.
it's not that nothing was updated for the car (in past 6 races as being said) it's that those changes have proved to not be effective ...as the windtunnel news goes, the difference between thier estimations of the upgrades, and real world affect, have been two different things, thus testing being moved to cologne ...though as we heard today from team principle, that "shouldn't be an excuse for the engineers"
Agreed. Sad really... Well done to the top 3. Awesome dominant win by Seb. Long overdue podium for Massa. Hopefully he can have some more this year. Great to see Kobi up there too and the fans so into it. Time for bed...
The worrying aspect here, is when were the Toyota F1 cars any good on the aero front either? The same story has been trotted out now for the best part of 3 years that the tunnel and track performance don't match it seems out of the established top teams only Ferrari has this problem. The Mac and Red Bull upgrades seem to do what they say on the tin, the Ferrari upgrades... Inconclusive, I think is the word being bandied about at the moment. The only thing that is going to save Alonso is some wet races.
