Very cool. But wow, 300,000 Euro is a lot of money. 360 and 430 Challenge cars are probably good buys these days.

I think that's the going rate for a real one.

Edit: it says 1976 but I don't think any real GTB/M chassis was from 1976. Earliest s/n I think is from 1978.

Well, the add says "curieux s'abstenir", which translate more or less into "curious people please refrain to ask" or "curious people not welcome"; usually it means that only serious enquiries will receive an answer...
but a short E-mail cannot do any harm: I shall ask politely for the chassis number, we'll see...

    Gentlemen,

Just got an answer to my enquiry: it is 18961.
And the owner stated clearly, just to avoid any doubt, that it is not one of the 11 original Michelottos...

Not necessarly; I don't know him personally, but I have found some snippets of information here and there about him and his car on the net, when he converted it; he seems to have a good reputation, and it was stated that his conversion was a good job.
I have no personal interest in this, I don't know the guy and I have not seen the car...but why not discuss it with him? He says that his stated price of 300.000 euros is "negociable". A true "Michelotto" would be way above this, in my humble opinion...

That's a deal for a Michelotto. The last one sold auctioned for a great deal more than that.

Look at me being all hasty! Thank you. For a replica that seems a bit steep! I believe one of the MAT replicas made near the same figure though so I suppose this car for sale depends on the quality of the conversion
