Here is a shot from today. We had 13 Lamborghini's in attendance. Mike Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow, thats a nice sight. Was there a special occasion or simply a very nice get together? How about after....any group cruise? Next weekend on the 14th we have a nice get together planned at a friends house in MA. We're all praying for nice weather! http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=384390 Can't Wait!
I believe I've seen this on one other kit before. It was a pic of just the body shell, no flares or spoilers. Not sure if it was supposed to replicate an LP400 or was just incomplete.
Peter: It is our weekly gathering (sort of a cars & coffee type event). We are getting to the end of the season, so a lot more people are coming out while the weather is still nice! Mike
This car has been DOTed all the way around. What's up with that air box over the Webers? It's a different shape than the ones I see DD cars usually have? Geno
Thought you guys would like to share in the misery! This is not mine, not a friends, it was an actual perfect condition Anniversary car purposely destroyed in NY 2 days ago. I witnessed its repeated destruction, both sides and rear end are messed up. I am also bound not to comment further, but once I am able I have tons to share. One comment I need to make, the CT is an incredible car that can withstand a tremendous amount of beatings. Sorry in advance for not answering any questions. Image Unavailable, Please Login
From the picture, it can be fixed. I'd like to know what it hit or what hit it. I just hope it was for a movie and a stupid music video.
Strange as the car pictured post crash has the US front bumper. Does that mean that two cars were destroyed? Also worth noting that the car in the link has the wrong turn signal lenses. Lol.
Kit cars are for crashing! The idiot should leave the real ones alone. No crap movie is worth trashing a perfectly good Countach. It takes a real stunned individual to do that.
Why in the world wouldn't they just use a kit car if they were going to destroy it? 99% of the viewing public would never know....
I've heard this car was used in the upcoming new Leonardo Di Caprio movie "Wolf of Wall Street".......................if correct, sorry to let the cat out of the bag! Kimbo, P.S. Why damage a real car? Plenty of replicas could have been used!!!!
+1 I heard the same. No secret because I have family that work and/or live in the city.....public knowledge for those there and any passer by. Plus traffic on the radio usually always states when a street is closed due to filming.
All considered, if the rumor is true, the owner will get the car paid back and an anniversary is the easiest model to replace at the moment. there are a lot of good examples to choose from.Imagine crashing a non-anniv carb car....
At least they get the continuity right with white/white anniv cars. Only true enthusiasts would spot the bumper difference.
Is nice countach!!! But is it amazing : http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=140706059&postcount=8991 where you could buy? Best regards!
No, and no client affiliation either, the image was taken in a shop in Ohio. For me to buy this car, I would want to return it to a carburetted LP500S in Eu trim (keeping the DOT bits for sentimental value only), and the price would have to allow that return.
Well that's because it is in a first-class operation who specialize in Italian cars whom I have successfully done business with more than once. http://thestudio47.com/ Good people who don't cut corners.
