The guy selling the Saratoage top is also selling a Ferrari V8 "restorer's guide" by Bluemel.
No reserve, starting price is $2.00. Wonder what other good stuff he is going to post?

That book looks like it has been dragged around the block a few times. It may have even spent some quality time in the bathroom! :)

but amazon has one for $750.00 . if you just want the book for its data, not the collector value, this is the one to buy. Bet it sells very cheap. My guess is $45.00 max. and there is free shipping.

    I just blew it up to $40....:D :D :D
Someone had loaded $30 or so...

Anything below $100 is the current market, or even a "good deal"..

I'll post, when I run across one here in Houston.
The matching "Original V12" is actually much harder to find....

Two bucks is about all it's worth from an accurate info standpoint... ;)

A friend gave me a copy of it 3 years ago, said keep it if you want it. I looked through it and gave it back to him. Then again, who knew that my '66 Hemi Plymouth Belvedere would someday be worth more than the $2400 bucks I sold it for? :)

Well the seller had it list for $2.00. Thats what he wanted as a minimum.

At least he didn't start it off at $100.00. I can't stand it when people list for the top price right away.

He literally gave away a battery cover for $50 the other week on ebay. I think the first person that saw it bought it now. Those babys are worth upwards of $200.

Maybe he will post a rare V-12 part for nothing!!!!!

Seller has it listed title as Vol. 8 instead of V8. Might prove hard to find and have a bad effect on price.

Well thats good that nobody will see it. Makes it cheaper for me. I may not have to pay $250. just to get a copy of this book. Too bad the library doesnt have it. I would check it out and just pay the overdue fines for 40 years!

It is a kick ass book, pretty cool. But $250. that buys alot of Mobil 1 oil.

Mine still sits on my shelf, purchased NEW for $24.95 on Amazon a few years ago.
Silliness for a rather mediocre book - but I'll hang onto mine until they hit $1K

    :)

Via IP matches and posting histories, I conclude that hawaii50 is also ferrari1, Golfmaster, and Saitacollector.

Furthermore, the registration e-mail address of Saitacollector is too reminiscent of the eBay seller "newshawnee291y" for it to be a coincidence. In posting history, ferrari1 also admitted to being the seller. I therefore conclude that these are multiple accounts and have been deliberately used as shills to exploit the membership of FerrariChat.

Multiple accounts are not permitted on FerrariChat for any reason, so your recently created "shill" accounts have been banned:

For the deliberate deception and exploitation, I am also banning your first account:
    • ferrari1: permanently excluded from the forum

    Regards,
    Andrew.

But not really that desired right now. Sold a mint one on eBay a few weeks ago for $39. Only 10-12 views, and one watcher.

I wonder how that is done?? Perhaps F-chatters can contrive to push the price of their 308s into the stratosphere! ;-)

I really don't get it why these books are so popular and highly sought after. I own a copy of the book, but it doesn't include more information about the V8 models that is available on the inet.

Around this time of year in '01, I'd decided I wanted a 330 2+2 and bought V12 at Borders that December - $29.95 retail, IIRC.

It was a good general knowledge reference book for a looker to have and a good read about '60s 12 models.
