Every time I see a picture of a Fiat Dino Spider, I get the urge to get one.

Get set of machines you got there!

I love the lines on that '67 Dino-Fiat Spyder!! What a georgeous car, and it looks like it's in great shape! (Of course the 246 & 550 are beautiful too). Have you ever had the opp'y to open it up? It's supposed to make 130+mph. In the Mike Morris book, he shows pix of the '67 at LeMans. Attached is a glam shot I got on my cell phone at the Concours. Very cool little car. Thanks for posting.

    Ditto.

I have been told that the noise (sorry, music) on a Fiat Spider is far superior than it is on the Dino. It comes to you instead of being left behind...

Very nice looking Spyer. You have the 2L with knock offs but with the later interior - a great combination. I have the 2L with the GT interior as it was one of the first 500 made for homologation purposes (Actual VIN is 288). The alleged story is that on March 1, 1965, Enzo Ferrari and Giovanni Agnelli announced a partnership whereby "In accordance with the decisions of the International Commission on Sports on the Formula 2 (1967) racing, which prescribes a minimum production of 500 units in 12 months to obtain homologation and therefore derive a F2 engine, Ferrari has made an agreement with Fiat, whereby Fiat is to produce the 6-cylinder Dino engine in sufficient numbers to allow its adoption on the new single-seater Ferrari".

Although I need an engine rebuild due to high oil consumption - my compression is acceptable and I have taken my 67 2L up to 80 mph on the 405 South (from LA to the La Jolla car show). But having rebuilt the exhaust system, brakes, suspension, clutch and transmission has really helped in that regard.

Enjoy your Dino! Andrew in LA

P.S. If you haven't done so yet - you should seek out Wally Clarke and subscribe to The Other Dino newsletter which is a great source for Fiat Dino information.

beautiful collection. I am looking for the yellow Dino insert for my Campy wheels. I noticed that you have them on your red Dino. Where did you get them?

I am also curious where you got the headlight covers? I think the ones I bought are the less curvaceous ones and don't fit the fender lines as nicely as yours do. They really compliment the body lines. I am putting campy's on my 72 euro gt as well . Is your car the chairs and flairs model..I can't quite tell. Thanks
