I like that. If money was no object and I had more than I could ever spend I would still be the same person I am now but I would probably just have more toys yet still work in law enforcement. I know people who have jumped from job to job simply because of a higher salary but they are the least happy people I have ever known.

Don't get me wrong I love money but it has never been or ever will be a foundation of my happiness. If I did have such financial means I could have helped my Aunt Myra and Uncle Maurice with their treatments and medical cost, our family lost both of them less than one year apart, and I could help my cousin Monica who was just diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer with her treatments and medical cost.

I would probably continue on the same as you with more toys with the exception of continuing to work. There are other things I would be doing like traveling and it wouldn't be fair to continue to occupy a job that I didn't need when there are so many out of work.

More travel and I'd refocus my work life toward more charity and public service.

I am currently in the process of letting things (both emotional and material) go personally so I can spend more time doing what I enjoy rather than being miserable trying to keep them. It is liberating, scary and eye opening. But I have decided, with limited exception, I am not going to answer to anyone anymore unless it's on my own terms financially or otherwise.

I subscribe to the notion its better to live a short life doing what makes you happy than a long one hating everything. I spent a good portion of my life accumulating useless crap and hating every minute of it.

I would create a vast compound similar to Michael Jacksons with a zoo and amusement park and id spend all my time making movies and inventing toys

A cool house with a lot of garden, so I have no issues with neighbours seeing me or hearing me. House doesn't have to be huge, but open plan living. Pool with bar. Underground garage for 30-odd toys.

I'd spend my days racing cars; BOSSGP, some historic F1 racing at certain tracks, and try and get into Endurance racing (world endurance championship!).

Also get a nice Oceanco 70-85 meter yacht with plenty of rooms and get all my good friends to come with and party in the caribbean/indian ocean islands...

Probably travel the world staying at places that haven't been destroyed by developers and shoot photography. Maybe bring a Defender 110 along the way to make it easier to drive about and have it double as a place to sleep. Kinda like that guy did with the G-wagen and drove all over the world (still going I think). :)

Edit: And state-side, I would probably buy a small secure property with a warehouse to store my belongings. Wouldn't trust leaving it in a rental storage unit to find out years later my unit was auctioned off on a tv show, LOL!
