I am optimistic for Ferrari, but Red Bull may have this in the bag for the WDC :(

Pretty late in the year for it, eh? :)

So... do you think the Astroturf on Hamilton's car adds to the weight at the end of the race? He might not need to pick up rubber. :D

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Great race although not the most thrilling up front. Ferrari need help. 10+ second gap to Ferrari from Red Bull. Unless Ferrari have good upgrades or Red Bull have big problems, FA title is in doubt now.

Nice job by FA and Massa but we know FA was not the fastest Ferrari today!

that's what I was thinking...usually that happens by the 2nd or 3rd race of the year

I don't know what the rules are for pieces of astroturf picked up along the way counting as post-race vehicle weight

Alonso got taken out in two first-lap incidents. Had that not happened, he would have scored points and would still be championship leader today.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

So I guess Kers can have a full charge right at the start? Seb referenced using it before turn 3 at race start? Which I didn't see

Red Bull had DNFs too - IMHO that's a zero sum game. The Ferrari just isn't the fastest car at the moment, and Alonso made the best out of it.. although Massa really was faster than him today!

Don't tell the haters!...... Must have been something wrong with Fred's car, surely!? ;)

Nice drive by both the Cans. About as good as could be hoped for from the Scuderia.

    Cheers,
    Ian

Bit of a procession this race.

Another great disappointment by Mercedes...come on. Seriously? Lotus upgrades barely improved the car but at least kept it up to its previous speed of the last 3 races, not dropping like a stone Mercedes has done. Can you say from hero to zero...?

Hamilton complaining constantly. haha. Serves you right for leaving the team that carried you for more than half your life.

Great drive by the top 4. Hulkenbergs move on Grosjean and Hamilton was fantastic. Schumacher had some nice dices and defended well but was in the end let down by his car as well.

    Retired in Italy from (5th???)
