2012 NY-Tri-State Spotters Thread

My thoughts exactly.

 

Saw a rosso 308/328 heading north on Smithtown Ave. in Ronkonkoma this morning.

 

Silver 456M in Ridgewood today. Haven't seen one of those in a while.

 

Black Scuderia tonight on Washington Ave. in Stamford with a female driver.

 

Glorious red spider with black interior in the showroom on Park Ave. (Not sure which red, as the lighting in there isn't "pure" and I was driving by.)

 

Also a dark blue 430 Spider in Paramus tonight.

 

About 15 later model corvettes in a row on the NJ Turnpike this morning heading south all with NY vanity plates.

 

Navy blue Maserati GT with yellow brake calipers parked at the met life building(200 park) in NYC. One of the nicest ones ive seen to date.

 

430 red coupe southbound on GS Parkway around 11 am. Red 1950's 300SL gullwing in downtown Bedford, NY around 2:30 pm.

 

This morning on 8th ave NYC, silver Lambo Gallardo. However, I'm jaded in things that make an impression on me car-wise and was more excited about 2 weeks ago to see a flat bed with two decent condition but dirtyish vintage white VW buses on it by the Port Authority. Move set cars maybe? VW buses are not something you see everyday in Manhattan!

 

Last week, a pair of Fisker Karmas parked at the Setai in midtown. Trying to show up the house QP, I guess!

 

Beautiful white Maserati Spyder parked on Franklin Ave in Garden City every morning. Female driver.

 

They were there for a Cocktail Party and Dinner hosted by Heinrick Fisker.

 

I saw those, very sharp cars. I saw a guy in a new turbo s checking them out while stuck at the light.

Black 930 with a "3.6" graphic under the tail, massive tires, looked brand new, heading north on 95, by Exit 5, just before noon yesterday.

1971, I think, Ram Air Firebird in burnt sienna, on the northbound Merritt, around exit 30, ~4:30PM, yesterday.

 

Black F50 Merritt Parkway southbound in Greenwich today around 12:30.

 

Sitting in a Manhasset parking lot with a view of 25A, I saw a silver FF, a dark grey R8 and a black Maserati GT go by in about three minutes, all heading west, around 4:10PM.

That is a nice sight. Never seen a black F50.

 

Ya I've seen it before. Any F50 is a nice site as I don't see many F50 cars. In fact I've seen more Enzo, F40 and 288GTO cars in my life. I'm sure once the new F70 is out there'll be several around here.

 

Gotta love the tri-state area! Never seen a 288 GTO in person, but several Enzos and F40s.

 

I've never seen an F50. The only F40 I've seen was in London. I've seen 2 Enzos (including Rich's) and one 288 GTO.
