Went out for a great drive on a truly beautiful fall day here in the Bay Area. I've come to the conclusion that the Dino has just the right amount of power for me. I come from 30 years of MG ownership, so I'm used to 55HP at the rear wheels, and the Dino's a nice bump from that. And at the speeds you can drive around here, a whole lot more power just doesn't make sense, whereas the wonderful handling and engine sound are something you can really enjoy. Saw two Gallardos and what looked like a Daytona on the drive too, so all in all a good afternoon...

Mark, I had the same wonderful experience in Central Ohio this afternoon. A beautiful fall day, perfect temps., clear skies, and my Dino just purred. I have been told by so many others that the power and weight of our cars is just right for fun on back roads. We don't have so much power that we will get in trouble, but there's enough there to have a great time. Tomorrow should be even better. Our Cars and Coffee group is meeting for our annual fall cruise in the hills of southern Ohio. The leaves are just about at peak color. Now if it doesn't rain... Marc

Can you believe that some folks would sell their Dino for a 360?!

I totally agree with you. I have had TVRs, an M3 and Porsche and driven friend's supercars. There is no doubt that driving a car that you have to think about driving, hustle is just much more fun AND I love the fact that strangers wave and smile and ask for rides (whcih i often give)...something that probably never happens with a DB9.

I just got in from our annual fall cruise in the hills of southern Ohio. Did about 175 miles with no glitches. Like I said before, this baby just purrs. I was easily able to keep up with the big boys on the curves. They lost me on the straights. I heard comments all day about never having to brake. Well, we know that ain't so, but compared to the big, heavy 8, 10, and 12 bangers this light weight, beautifully balanced 6 cylinder just hugged the roads. I am 100% convinced, it'll never be sold by me. No way. Now, any ideas on how to correct that leaning-out problem on left turns? Marc
