Wow it looks new! I love the red calipers! That toolkit is MINT.

    +Challenge grill
    +No sticky switches
    +New tires
    +No dashboard shrinkage
    +6 Speed GTB

If you're a fan of Argento Nurburgring Silver and you're ready to make a move I say proceed with a PPI and test drive!

Seems a little overpriced in today's market.

Also, the "No sticky" in the description doesn't specify if it's been fixed or if the sticky hasn't happened yet. Those are 2 very different things. If it hasn't happened yet, it will and will require some time and money to sort out.

Headers also appear unchanged and that should lower the price.

I think it should be listed at 60k and should have room for negotiation on top of that.

Besides that, it's a very nice car!

I didn't even look at the price :D but agreed, it's a bit pricey. 60-65k would seem more appropriate.

What a beautiful car. a color combo that you do not see too often in the F355B. If stacks up on PPI, and drive's well, no reason to not make an offer.

Agreed! I think, if it's in the shape they say and the major really is so recent, it's certainly worth at least a slight premium. It's a little steep, but IMO, if it checks out and is what you want, try to work it down a bit and then enjoy the hell out of it!

The only thing that would worry me is the mileage. A little over 1,000 miles per year is very low, so be sure to have the engine checked out thoroughly.

    Yeah, a 6 speed GTB...YUM!

My god, we are our own worst enemies sometimes.

The car is absolutely worth every penny of the asking price.

This does not look like the same car that is on ebay. Floor mats are different and passenger side air bag looks much better on the ebay picture. Huge price difference. The seller states new tires and no sticky. How could this be the same car?

The VIN number is the same... It's the same car.

It looks like the buyer serviced the engine and fixed the cosmetic issues of the car and is trying to flip it for some good cash... I don’t think there is any wrong with doing this, I just wanted to point out that it's the same car.

The $69k is the buy it now price on ebay. In other words the most the seller thinks it could possibly go for. The sellers bottom line is more likely in the low 60's and if it passes a PPI it is surely worth low 60's, maybe even high 60's. Very desirable version/color in great cosmetic condition. I would trade my GTS for that car no question.

This car brings up something I find interesting and confirms how we as 355 owners are our own worst enemies.

When this particular car was asked about in the other thread and the price listed was $40k although he could have probably bought it for $38k most everyone bashed the car and said it wasn’t worth it because of the lack of service history blah blah blah…
Yes, the car had no service history and a few cosmetic flaws such as sticky interior and shrinking leather. But now the car has had those issues fixed (supposedly) and guys are saying it’s every bit worth $69k. I totally agree it might be worth the money so why wasn’t it worth the $40k it sold for in the first place??? Let’s just say the owner has $55k ($40k purchase + $15k service) invested in this car and he sells it for $65k, well hell that is a nice little profit.

Do you guys see what I am trying to say?

I rather have it at the 38K and do the rest myself.

Like they say, do it yourself if you want it right

I dont give a rats ass what anyone says about what they or ferrari did to their car. Been doing this for over 30 years professionally and have yet to find a better long term solution.

I have seen so many so called "perfect cars" only to find they are as crappy as the rest

I think it is a fairly simple issue here. When someone is looking at buying a car, they want the lowest price possible. So everyone is ready to tear a car down to point out anything that can be used to negotiate the best price. But when someone (especially one of us) is trying to sell a car, we then think it should bring much more because it has all the issues fixed on it and has been loved by it's owner. It is natural for someone to want the lowest price when buying and the highest price when selling. When someone outside of this group is selling a 348/355, and the price is high, we either say that it is a great thing because it makes us feel better about the value of our cars or we tear it down with all of the details because we think that the seller is trying to push a load of goods onto someone even if we do not have all of the facts. It appears to be a lose/lose situation IMHO. (for what that is worth) :D

The results of the PPI in the other thread about this car were not good. I wonder what they did about the 14% leak down. (assuming it's the same car. Seems like it is)

If it is the same car, it was hit front and back, and a C-pillar was wonky from the hit.

I'm the guy that had the chance to buy this car for 38k. I had the car sent to Ferrari Technologies in Orange county CA. Larry the owner spent an entire day looking this car over. The motor has 3 cylinders that read low on the leak down. Larry also said the valve guides need replaced. That wasn't the big issue, the big issue was the damage the car took when it was in an accident, Larry said the entire car was repainted and still showed damage from the impact, the rear pullers have wrinkles in the metal because the impact was so hard. I didn't want to buy a wrecked Ferrari. Also pull the car FAX it shows the accident as well. I bought a 360 instead.....

Thanks for chiming in on the car, 69k is mucho dinero for a car with a colorful history IMO. Looking at a 360 as well.
