You were saying how Ferrari had screwed up big time by not getting him a couple weeks ago. Goldfish memories.
If felipe had been driving like this for the first half of the season it would be him leading the WDC
Ah no. Ive never said that. Ive said LdM didnt want him and posted that a few times. Ive never said Perez is the solution. If anything Ive posted over and over he would be foolish to go to the Scuderia and sit behind FA. Hence he is going to a team where drivers race rather than follow the Pope's edicts. "No actually Perez is the smart one. Going to a team where he can win vice driving in trail of others. Ferrari have FA and need no others. As if #2 at Ferrari is some kind of prize. Not for Perez... " --Posted by me on Sept 28 - Goldfish for you maybe.
http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=141747148&postcount=47 Agreeing that LdM "must go" due to his ego and running Perez off, while also hoping that Perez goes to Ferrari or somewhere else. Also, you were touting Perez as a guy that could challenge/beat Alonso and a surefire future WDC. Changed your tune pretty quick eh? Nice try.
My quote: --Yes of course. Lets hope someone can work something out whether Perez moves to Ferrari or somewhere else. A great young talent and so fun to watch!! -- So Perez going somewhere else at the time implies all that LOL!! I agree'd it was a battle of ego's -- SHOCKING!! You need GOLDFISH STAT! Paging Dr House. You are delusional. My quote is pretty clear. Not much implication other than the fact that Perez is a talent and fun to watch. Ok? LOL! You are quite the barrel of monkeys eh? Please if you dont get help at Charter, please ...get help somewhere LOL!!! Ta ta!
You do realize that Massa has scored more points than any other driver minus Vettel in the last 5 races... He could have passed king Alonso in Korea as well had "big red" allowed it.. Alonso is the one that needs to be looking over his shoulder...
If Alonso is a rooster, and there can only be one rooster at Ferrari, then in Luca's estimation, Massa is ....?
Are you kidding? You basically said Luca needs to step down if he doesn't get Perez. Plus, it's not just that quote, you have implied Perez as a future WDC in several posts which are now too old to be found in your history (in addition to how he will have his pick of the litter - McLaren, Red Bull, etc.). You were completely drunk on him after the Italian Grand Prix. The complete 180 you pulled was a little funny and clearly your feathers have been ruffled when I brought it up. As for all this talk of being "delusional," I know you are probably frustrated due to being made to look silly in the Korea thread but there is no reason to post such drivel
Drivel...you take the cake. Perez is good. Keep searching my posts please. Ive posted plenty of times about him and LdM. Supporting the idea that he is not coming to Ferrari. He is not LOL! I agree'd the big egos are work with Slim and LdM I never stated LdM should step down. I did call him a big cheerleader. Imply or assume allllllllllllllllll you want from my posts. Thank the diety's I have a life and dont really care what you find. This is an emotional forum and I can only imagine what Ive posted and forgot. Like quite a few here and also none of it matters at all! Have fun digging.
True, Massa?s season still sucks very much but, truth is ever since Monza felipe has been the best of the Ferrari drivers....now let´s see for the rest of the championship, if he keeps it up, he can still salvage his year.
Best of the Ferrari drivers? Alonso was taken out by accidents. Can you really count those finishes? As for Korea there is no reason to assume he was in fact faster than Alonso.
I am really happy about how Felipe's driving has improved over recent races and glad to see he will be with the team next year. However, before I would venture to say that he has become faster than Fernando (which I doubt) I would want to know how old the two respective engines are. The vehicle are supposed to be exactly the same but engines are replaced at different times.
I´m only watching at the facts (as so often massa detractors do), it´s not felipe´s fault Alonso didn´t finis...and at japan, Alonso was responsible for his accident.....as for Kore, i must desagree, there is every reason to assume Massa was faster, because he actaly was, lap by lap....if Alonso had anything left, he would have tried to catch webber and not fall behind. At Monza and Korea, felipe was simple the best of the 2, at Singapur, he was not responsible for being puncted on first lap but from what i saw, his race was every bit as good if not better than Alonso´s.
I dont know if he is faster than FA but he is faster than he was and in Korea he didnt appear to have the tire degradation that FA did. Accordingly he may have been marginally faster over the course of the race. FA addressed this in a post race interview on SKY and said he had backed off to manage the tires but when he did push towards the end of the race he opened a gap to Felipe.
Sure he did...after being told to stay away from Fernando and with no one behind him can you tell me any reason for Felipe to keep pushing his engine???? Fernando was saving ****, he simply had no more pace, it´s as simple as that.
Great news on the new deal! Woo hoo! Forza Phil! As most know, I've been one of his staunchest supporters thru thick & thin - I've been called names and generally lambasted over the past couple of years. FWIW, I totally agree with Stefano & LdM - He's the best available right now. HOWEVER, even I can't make a convincing argument that he's quicker than Fred!..... Sure, he was in Korea, but over the course of a season Fred will come out ahead both in qualy and races. That's not a bash on Phil, just an acknowledgement that Fred is the best, fastest and most complete jockey in the field right now. IMO of course, Cheers, Ian
Facts? While its not Massa's fault Alonso DNF'd that doesn't mean that those races are indicative of relative speed. As far as Korea goes it makes more sense that Alonso knew catching the RBs was impossible and was playing it smart, going no faster than needed, than to assume that Phil has risen Phoenix like and is now the quicker of the two. Believe what you will. That's what makes sports talk fun.
It should also be noted that Alonso was faster in qualifying. I'm not convinced Felipe was quicker in Korea overall...
