I wasn't the first to join the Massa sucks movement, but changed my tune after his Italy and Japan races. Korea showed more of his former self and I really hope he'll continue racing like he does now for the remainder of his F1 career. Welcome back Felipe!

Bandwagon jumping banned? - Weren't they a prod-rock group in the Seventies?

I believe "I lost my breath!" was their first album! :p

As I've said in other Massa threads, I'm starting to suspect there's been more to Massa's performances this season than we've all been aware of!

(Anyone else finding it funny how Massa's form [and Button's too], suddenly turned completely around out the blue? - Gotta love a good conspiracy theory! ;) )

:) Tires like Vizla said. Beyond that who knows! JB is the perfect counter to the aggression of LH with his smooooooooooooooth style!

1 interesting thing about being fickle is there has not been a recent race and the Massa of sucks thread is number 1 current replies . the Massa I gotta love him thread is blelow this one in current replies . so I assume there are more people who are fickle and more people who are hitting Massa .
    the polls don't lie

Whoops. Fickle just shot to no 1 :)

Here's what I don't understand, Massa has a couple of good showings and all of a sudden he's got a new contract with Ferrari, something they have been paying him to do all this time. It's as if Ferrari have just found out something wrong with the car as the reason for his results these past 2 years.

    Not a "reasonable" comparison using those metrics;

    - The "sucks" thread was started ~4 years back (!)
    - The doesn't suck thread is only a week old

I do find it a little surprising that the former hasn't been off the front page in all that time, but I guess its' just the tifosi are "passionate" about their drivers......

    Cheers,
    Ian

I would agree but there has not been a race for over a week and Massa did well in the last ones . regardless of thread age there are more recent ;) hits against him than those feeling the love.

point is most dislike him a few are feeling better / fickle but not many defending.

We'll see after next week's race where the fans stick.

personally I like him he has done well years ago but I have little to say about his abilities recently . I am more as the choice of threads show. Less love a bit fickle in 'happiness' and void of the 'love' area....

Too early to talk about next season and Massa.

I don't dislike Phil and I suspect that resigning him was the best possible option.
Having said that, I'm relieved to see that some of the irrational exuberance following Japan and Korea is fading.
